I will start by say Black Orchid. My gf bought this for me and i dont even think she knew it was a womans frag. Anywho...i love it and enjoy wearing it.

Im sure Chanel will make this list.

Too many to list. However the Chanel you speak of is Sycomore, I'm still surprised it's marketed towards women.

None I can think of.

On Chanel's website, Sycomore is not listed under women's or men's. It's listed under Les Exclusifs de Chanel with no gender designation.

I can't really even make a distinction anymore. I'm wearing Miss Dior (the 1947 one!) today and I struggle to find anything feminine in it. It smells like an old library.

Some of my standbys:

Jicky
Shalimar (though the GF complains it's too feminine)
Diorella
Bal a Versailles
Hiris
Y

Mitsouko
Shalimar PdT
Chanel Cuir de Russie
Sycomore
Lots more I cant think of, but most were created way before frags were really geared towards men and so they were only listed as for women.

If you can wear Black Orchid then I think it is safe to say that you can wear pretty much any women fragrances that you like . Give the following a try

Everything from Lolita Lempicka
Everything from Thierry Mugler
FlowerBomb by Viktor & Rolf
Jasmin Noir by Bvlgari
Hypnotic Poison by Dior
Midnight Poison by Dior
No 19 & 5 by Chanel
Shalimar by Guerlain

Too many to count, I agree, but for starters:

(Rule of thumb is wear what you like.)

Shalimar
Shalimar Initial
Jicky
Mitsouko
Bandit
Jolie Madame
Cabochard
Miss Dior (vintage version)
Vol de Nuit
Narcisse Noir
Chanel Cuir de Russie
Chanel No. 19
Chanel No. 19 Poudre
Alien
Cuir de Lancome
Habanita
Chanel Coco Noir

Vintage Cachet is one that rarely gets mentioned, and I vastly prefer Shalimar Light to original Shalimar. I also like vintage Ma Griffe, but as others have said, "too many to mention."
The classic Guerlains and most Caron fountain extraits.
IMH experience,

- orientals,
- some chypres

Floral, aldehydic and floral aldehydes don't work on me. Please be aware, I said "on me". I know many in Basenotes enjoying these.

The bottom line is: try by yourself.

If I have to mention brands: too many. Among these, Obsession, Must, Habanita, Coromandel, Sycomore, Jersey, La Basier du Dragon, Quartz, Mitsouko, Shalimar, Je Reviens, Cabochard, Chanel N° 19, Midnight Posion, Hypnotic Poison, Magie Noire, Dior Homme... and any other I havn't tried.

Just because I wore it the other day and everyone else is mentioning either niche or vintage : try Versus Versace (2010 - purple box). Sweet but not cloying, projects ok and lasts a really long time.

Memoir Woman
Hypnotic Poison

Though I've never tried it (unfortunately), I hear Epic Woman is one hell of a scent (just like its Man companion).

You've obviously walked into the wrong thread then. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Many of the ones I find wearable have been mentioned here already, but I'll cast my vote for:

Jicky
Mitsouko
Vol de Nuit
Cabochard
Aromatics Elixir
Azuree
Alliage
Shalimar Parfum Initial l'Eau
Jubilation 25
Diorella
Dioressence
Bal a Versailles
Angel
Givenchy III
31 Rue Cambon
Y

There are some mentioned here that I'm not comfortable with, including Shalimar and many of the Carons, for example - but everyone is different. I may change my mind about that eventually.

Interesting, on both Basenotes and Fragantica it's listed as feminine.

I salute mr. Stinky for such a thorough list. Any good fragrance will smell good on anyone. Imagine that. Sure there may be individual tastes and perhaps personal chemistry issues with certain kinds of scents or certain notes, but most fragrances marketed to men and women share the same basic chemicals, notes, scents...there is no "note" that is found exclusively in fragrances marketed to one sex or the other, so it's just a matter of proportions and concentrations. Is there a concentration of a certain chemical that forces one fragrance to develop one sex or another? Who decides? What if a concentration is just over or under that arbitrary limit? Tastes have changed a lot even in a few decades. Fragrances that may have been marketed to one sex 80 years ago might have much more in common with fragrances marketed to another sex now. Who knows in another decade or two what the fashion may be? The distinctions may be meaningful to some youngster lacking confidence in himself or herself who needs a masculine or feminine marketing campaign to reinforce the gender identity, but once one has developed some confidence in that department, the arbitrary distinctions mean nothing, and it's just a question of what smells good on you. As it should be. Pardon my rant.

Definitely Hypnotic Poison from Dior. This is one of my all time favorite fragrances, male or female.
