Is there a risk for me to find a fake bottle of DHI on ebay?

Hi BNers.

I've been hearing for alot of reviewers saying that is's hard to find faked DHI bottles on sites like eBay, Amazon. Is that true?

I mean, it's a really popular fragrances, why wouldn't be fakes on the market?

I'm asking this question because I've found a bottle of DHI 150 ml for a really good price, on eBay. The seller is from Germany and has good ratings on his page. But good ratings does not mean that he doesn't sell fake bottles, right?

Isn't this the bottle that one can take apart? If so I would only buy it from a store.

There's always a risk on Ebay. The question is whether or not it's worth it to you to take it.

My saying is

Anything that can be faked will be faked

With that being said proceed at your own risk.

It's always a risk, but with Ebay's buyer-friendly policies (if you pay by paypal you're virtually guaranteed your money back if you're sold a fake), it's one I take all the time.

So far, many transactions, no fakes. But I know there will eventually be a first time.

Why not just buy from escentual.com?

I bought Opium Pour Homme EDP from there and the service was great.

They have DHI in every size 50ml to 150ml.

There is always a chance, unfortunately. You should post the link to the listing and let the community decide. I'm getting pretty good at spotting fakes on eBay if I do say so myself

95.9 Euro? But what's the deal you're making? For this price + a little more for shipping you can also order it at Sephora in France and have peace of mind. It isn't worth the risk IMO to order it on ebay at that price.
