Creedless thread

I don't think I have ever seen a thread that someone doesn't jam cram slam a reference to a creed product....Come one we are all adults, can't anyone have an original thought? I was reading down a thread about male rose based frags, and some drone says...ummm.....Aventus. I am not known for being subtle, and I DO hurt people feelings sometimes by being BLUNT...but keep your Creed where it belongs!!! I own a few bottles so I don't hate the stuff, but it is like shouting SPIDERMAN COMICS! every time there is a discussion about Great authors like Faulkner, Wilde, Shakespeare, Dickens, or Omar Khayyam. I get sick of Creed this Creed that. We all have our favorites, but DON'T KEEP STICKING GIT OR AVENTUS in as your all-time favorite Tar-based scent, or mentioning GIT in a discussion about oud. IT is inappropriate!!! Ok, angry rant is over, you may return to your regularly scheduled program.

I hear 'ya, bro. We need to find a different topic around here. How about music? What sort of music do my fellow frag heads like? I sort of like a band formed back in the mid 90's in Florida. Lead vocalist Scott Stapp is awesome. Band is called Creed....

I know very little about the line. Unfortunately, where I live, there aren't too many stores that would sell it and I cannot test any. I'm too afraid to buy online in case of fakes.

But it seems that Creed is the brand of choice for many on this site; I think it's all about word of mouth and the users enabling each other to try and buy.

While I GIT (nyunk nyunk nyunk) what you're saying, this isn't exactly the best simile to use. Spiderman comics is to your list of authors like Preferred Stock is to cologne, maybe...but not Creed. I might go Cormac McCarthy. Depending on your taste (and time), McCarthy COULD be on a list of all-time great authors...just like Creed COULD be on numerous lists.

Again--I know what you're saying and don't really dispute the premise...just this statement.
