Hey guys,

I was just wondering. What do you think is the age group for L'instant de Guerlain pour homme extreme? Is it ok to wear it as a 18-year-old student or is it a more mature scent?
Just like any other scent, it is for all ages. Just wear whatever you like.

I love this scent and wear it as often as I can. But I must be honest, their is something about L.I.D.G.E that in my opinion, makes it better suited for a man 25 and over. It has a mature scent vibe to it. But you don't have to take my word for it. Try it and try it again. I am all for young guys trying out and wearing all types of scents but their are scents which are more suited towards a more mature audience, ie. Bois du Portugal. Of course, if you are comfortable with LIDGE, the rock on. More power to you.

Thanks for the comments guys! Actually I don't have a chance to try this one out so it will be a blind buy if I want to get it. I guess I'll come back to this one in a few years

Any suggestions for a nice winter fragrance with reasonable pricing for my age (18)?

Any age group and especially at 18, it would be highly appropriate.

Answering your second question, I guess Burberry London could be a good choice at an affordable price.

+1. But as with any scent, try before you buy. Get yourself a small decant and wear it a few times before you make your decision.

Yup, as stated for all ages.

I think this one would be excellent for a youngster in making you stand out from the crowd in a good way.

Totally Agree

For me, it's more of a formal or business attire scent.

I find it fairly versatile & appropriate for all ages.

Agreed.

I find the less sprays the better actually, especially with this one.

Spray a little on the base of your neck and watch the women come search for who "smells so good" in the room.

I actually find the Extreme as very strong. On my skin, it is stronger than Tobacco Vanille. I'm a 3-5 sprayer, but with Extreme, one spray to the chest is enough. Two, if I want it to project more.

Hmm you guys make me really doubt it. I was thinking between this one, Rochas man and Burberry London, totally different scents I guess..

So on what occasions do you wear this one? Is it appropriate to wear it to class or should I go for Burberry London?
Yes, all quite different - but great - scents IMO. Everyone has their own take, but I find Rochas man more light & "playful" out of the 3 & I like to wear it as a casual, hanging out type of scent. London makes a great daily for me, as it's projection is light, it has an underlying freshness to me throughout & it's fairly cheap - as is Rochas Man. Again, all 3 are great, so it's all about what you find suits you best.

Perfumes have no age limits, only opinions. Beware any "experts" who claim otherwise...

18 - 99 age group

Rochas Man would be BY FAR best choice for your age. London and LIDGE are equally "mature" scents. Not strictly mature scents but there is a touch of sophistication which most people at college probably wont appreciate yet. Rochas is also rather cheap so if you wont like it (and I doubt that you wont like it) you wont loose that much money.

Just check what it says on the box first.
