Three compliments yesterday!

I almost never get complimented on my frags.

Yesterday was different. . .very different. Got three compliments. . .all from women.

What was I wearing, you ask.

Molinard's Patchouli. First time I've worn it "out."

Go figure.

Getting compliments on a fragrance always seem to come from people that already have established interest (for me at least). Otherwise you're relying on bumping into an extroverted person with enough confidence to strike up semi-personal conversation with an otherwise stranger.

The occasional random women I get dishing out compliments seems like they're in heat...but always is followed with "I'd love this on my boyfriend/husband. Meh...

It's hard getting compliments out of people, especially for the scent your wearing,so, congrats big time! My record has only been two females in the same Dr.'s office, but I was wearing vintage Dior Homme and they probably wanted to be wearing it themselves! LOL

Now that is different . . . MP stood out in the crowd. Probably a frag worn by few. I wear and sniff that one often.

Excellent. Patchouli is great and very masculine. And I'm another one glad to hear it wasn't Aventus or GIT that got the compliments. That theme has gotten tiresome.

It's not really surprising as women generally love earthy woody scents on men. Vetiver (the smokier the better) is another one that springs to mind.

This may be my favorite straight up take on patchouli. I have a friend who has complimented it a few times, although on other days she has wrinkled her nose at it and indicated dislike. Go figure. Usually I don't get much response on this one (or others for that matter). Always nice to get compliments though. Good job!
