Can you guys tell me what colognes can be noticed in a good way , i mean when you walk by someone the smell lingers and he can get a huge whiff of the fragrance..
please help me , i need this type of sillage..also tell me what fragrances can project well for all the duration of the cologne on the skin , i mean colognes that still project very well for 7hrs+ and doesn't stick to the skin ..

Giorgio for Men is a projection and longevity beast, and smells incredible, IMO.

The one that I've been noticing a lot lately is Tom Ford Black Orchid.

But your question is very, very general and likely to prompt a large array of fragrances. Better to narrow down your search a bit.

My brother applies 212 Men by Carolina Herrera at about 7am. By 5pm I can still smell it the minute he walks in the house, let alone walking past him.

I used to own it, and it does project and last well. It does not smell good, IMO, however. I was happy to give it away.

He definitely leaves the bottle at home so no re-application. I've worn it a few times and seems to last and project very well on me

+1 for 212 Men, crazy projection and sillage for me. I applied it one night and got a compliment the next day almost 14 hours later but at that point i couldnt smell it on myself. However after getting my nose on much better scents i dont enjoy it nearly as much as i used to.

This question is so ridiculously vague. "Noticed in a good way", I mean it's like do you think people are going to recommend scents with great sillage that suck?

I think he means a fragrance that isn't offensive, when he says "noticed in a good way". Though all of that is very subjective to the person smelling the fragrance.

To answer OP question though I would suggest Midnight in Paris EdP by Van Cleef & Arpels.

1 Million does this, and it is not offensive if applied in the right quantity. But this is true of other mentions in this thread, like Le Male.
