Thanks hedonist222,

They are both great, some of the best releases of 2012,

Bois d'Ascese - a camp-fire scent in a bottle with a whiff of tobacco & incense in the background

Cuir Velours - It's lovely & elegant scent, it smells like a pair of Hermes suede leather gloves holding a bouquet of fleur d'immortelle. Very well made, i'm impressed.

If there's an award for rookie fragrance house of the year for 2012, Naomi Goodsir & Ramon Monegal would have my votes

I'd go as far to say half the cost of that fragrance is buried in the packaging.

I forgot to post that my boss bought me, for my birthday, this:

He has excellent taste, doesn't he? Well, he's French, so I suppose that helps. The scent reminds me, in style, of Opus IV by Amouage and, of course, Jubilation XXV (Duchaufour did both) just drier and more scratchy...in a good way. I love it!

I got a 100ml bottle of Escada Magnetism from ebay which I thought was fairly reasonable at £36.

It's a blind buy but hopefully I'll enjoy it as much as the classic Escada Pour Homme that I got about 12 years ago and stupidly used up a few years back before I got into collecting EDTs.

Be careful it's not fake. I bought a bottle from eBay too and it ended up being fake.

Could you post up pictures of the fake? I'm curious as to what they look like because I was unaware they were faked.

Anyway...

I bought:

-3.4 and 1.7 oz Emporio Armani Night
-3.4 oz Escentric Molecules Molecule 01
-2.5 oz Armani Attitude
-3.4 oz Candies for men by Liz Claiborne for retail
