I picked up a bottle of Petit Fracas today I saw an ad in the local Gumtree, emailed the lady and we made the exchange this afternoon. She sold it to me at a fraction of the RRP. It was unopened and still in its sealed box.

Thanks, T! I have such fond memories of hearing this song at a Metallica concert ... James singing while bathed in blue light ... still gives me goosebumps!

To stay on topic ... I purchased another decant of SL Santal de Mysore. This is my third decant, I should just buy a FB for goodness sake!

I received my new bottle of Heeley Cuir Pleine Fleur last night, and I am wearing today. I believe this is the first bottle I have bought since January, and that one was Cuir de Russie

Amouage Memoir Woman.
I've been building up my collection a bit, so this past month has been crazy:

-Angel Aqua Chic (just got this today and I can't tell you how disappointed I am because it smells nothing like the one I smelled in Sephora. It's so strong and smells almost exactly like full-blown Angel. I was lured by a discount on Perfume Emporium's site, but now I wish I'd ordered it from Sephora, because I could return it. I guess I'll just donate it.)
-80% full Miss Dior Cherie 2005 version that I got for a good deal on ebay
-John Galliano
-Child roll-on (finally! I rationed my sample forever)
-Mitsuoko
-Jicky
-Dita Von Teese
-Decants of Ormonde Jayne Woman, Shalimar Parfum Initiale L'eau, Chanel No. 19 Poudre, Coco Noir, Piguet's Oud, Calypso and Visa

All in all, I'm pretty happy with the full-sized bottles except for Aqua Chic. Mitsuoko may take some getting used to for me, but it's not awful. None of the Piguet or Chanel decants wowed me and I won't be buying the full bottles.

A roll on of Robert Piguet Visa.

Blue Mercury does a "party" every year, where, if you spend over a certain amount, you get 20% off total purchase. I went in on a few items with a friend and was able to grab one of the last bottles in stock of Serge Lutens Rousse. I'm simply ecstatic. One of the best scents on my skin!

Very good choice, i did the same a few month ago, i took 4 bottles ! This perfume is unique, it's a big revelation for me because i stayed away during years and now it could integrate my top, cinnamon by itself has a very complex scent and it's softly paired with iris, the balance is just perfect.

Mona di Orio Les Nombres d'Or Tubereuse from Parfum1. Used the 20% discount code they sent me.
Mona di Orio Les Nombres dOr Vanille from The Perfume Shoppe. I already own one, but they jacked p the price by $50 and thought might stock up one at the old price.
Neela Vermeire Trayee. I got a sample set, and they were offering 15 off and free shipping to all prior customers. Might even get myself her Bombay Bling. It's just sooo good.

Got my Reglisse Noir by 1000 Flowers in the mail from Canada today. My very first blind buy (I love black licorice). Sadly, I seem to be anosmic to something in it, as I mostly get sweetness but not the deep licorice I was hoping for

Thanks! I also have Feminite du Bois (my first Serge Lutens). I'm in love with both for very different reasons...his perfumes really speak to me with an expert combination of serenity, pleasure and spices. Eventually, I also want to get Un Lys and Sarassins (eventually).

Thanks Whitefluffy! No this time it's not a treat to celebrate completing another semester. The winter semester ends in late January so it's still plenty of time. I bought 1725 because I found an amazing deal. I paid like 90$ for it.

Congrats to you and Dzongkha!

Wow, $90 for 4 Oz of HdP? Lucky, lucky you!!!

I got Dzongkha on sale too, though the deal was not as good as yours. I got 20% discount and free shipping - but it works for me!

Bought a second bottle of Musk Blanc Femme by Robert Piguet. I never hear about this one, but it is lovely. I don't know if it came before or after the big surge of musk scents in the 60s, but it works for me. It came with a bottle of Pierre Cardin Choc and some Avon stuff.
