Best Winter Night Out Fragrance?

Hi all,

Since Winter couldn't wait to get started (it's freezing in the UK currently) I thought it would be a good idea to get a discussion going on fragrances strong enough to cut through that ice cold air on a night out.

I'm still at odds with what to wear from my wardrobe, especially since my skin seems to choke the life out of most fragrances I apply. What I would consider my night out selections from my current arsenal are below. Appreciate your opinions...

Dior Homme Intense (original formulation) - Christian Dior
Amber Pour Homme Intense - Prada
Joop! Homme - Joop!
Joop! Homme Summer Ticket - Joop!
Musc Ravageur - EDP Frederic Malle
Individuel - Mont Blanc
CH - Carolina Herrera
Fuel For Life - Diesel

By the way, I've got a couple of work x-mas parties coming up in December, need to pick out something appropriate, but can't make up my mind!

Thanks. I don't own La Nuit, although heard many good things about it. Suppose I ought to sample it sometime.
According to reviews on BN and youtube, Individuel apparently smells quite similar to Original Santal.

Cheers. I'm sort of veering in the direction of those two. DHI has been my go to night out scent, but I recently bought MR and now I can't seem to choose between the two. They are both special scents in my view.

Big fan of Musc Ravageur in the winter. I really like the dry down and projection on this one.

I personally don't find DHI to be strong enough for a night out in the UK at this time of year. Get yourself some Pure Malt my friend.

Tonight I wore DHI and everytime I do my appreciation for it grows. It has great lasting power and has enough depth to stay interesting for eight hours.

+1 DHI in your list.

But if you want to add to your lineup, rainy winters are great times for warm leathers and for immortelle, both of which last forever. Examples of leather are Knize Ten and Rien; of immortelle (caramel like) Goutal Sables and Lutens Jeux de Peau.

i had to go in club wearing DHI reformulated, but it seems do not project good. I did 5 sprays but still dont think its near. What can you guys advice in this situation? Club is very popular and there is too much people and sigarrete smoke.

I agree. While I love DHI, it seems more fitting for a close intimate occasions, since it seems to sit quite close to my skin.
I know there is a lot of love for Pure Malt, I've never actually had an opportunity to sample it, although I hear Debenhams have it in stock, but it's still not listed on their website.

Again, I wouldn't personally wear DHI at a club. To me it's more of an intimate close setting type of fragrance i.e dinner dates, nights out (not clubbing) etc.
Depending on your age; good clubbing scents from my experience would be Joop!, Le Male, Ultraviolet Man, Fuel For Life to name but a few.
A clubbing scent to me has to be potent in order to cut through the dense air/smoke and survive the onslaught of sweat and body heat.

Try and sample La Nuit De L`Homme Parfum,this would make a great Winter night out frag.

I don't own Aventus. Sampled it at Liberty in London, don't really know what all the fuss is about.

I've just blind purchased Pure Malt and Fleur du Male - both great night out scents in my view, especially for the winter months.
