Suggest me a Montale

So, I noticed perfumesraffy has $4.00 2mL Montale samples, and I've never smelled the line before, so I figure this is a good time to do so.

****I've never smelled Oud/Aoud before**** if that matters much...I assume it does.

I hear Cuir d'Arabie and Dark Aoud are popular, but I figured I'd ask the experts and get some opinions before I get a few (2 or 3) samples.

Thanks.

EDIT: So far I'm considering Spices and Woods, Blue Amber, Full Incense, and Aoud Moon.

Black Aoud is nice. Notes are : Cambodian aoud, Patchouli leaves, Mandarin, Musk, Rose petals

Oud varies a lot across brands. Montale oud is on the woody, cedary, sharp side (relative to other ouds that are sweeter and mellower). The main note is quite similar in the Montale ouds, so it's more a matter of which accompanying note you like. +1 Black oud (rose and oud), probably the most classical. Oud cuir d'Arabie for leather and dirty musks. Another favorite of mine is Aoud lime (saffron, rose, oud). And Dark aoud seems to be very popular here too.

Spices and Woods is a wonderful fragrance. If you can get a sample, go for it.

Check out Aoud Musk. Dark Aoud and Red Vetyver are also nice.
