SOTD: Monday 3rd December 2012

Morning fragrant ones,

How is everyone? Got the Monday blues?

I'm so tried, didn't get much sleep last night. How is the weather with everyone? Up here we've got 1.5ft of snow!

Anyway - my SOTD will be Parfums MDCI - Invasion Barbare

Hope everyone has a good day

Morning Everyone,

Thankfully no snow here in the South-East (yet...). Despite being half-Swedish, I'm really not designed for the cold. Urgh.
Fumerie Turque today. This got so much wear last winter, and I can see the same happening this time around. Caught whiffs of No.5 from the woman sat opposite me on the tube this morning, which put a smile on my dial.

Have a good start to the working week, folks.

Good morning!

Kind of mild but wet outside here in London. I'm wearing my latest purchase, Petit Fracas. It's a fruity floral with a hint of cacao and the dry down is a smooth chocolately floral. I think it's fun and flirty and would appeal to all ages. Have a great Monday

Always do, but pulling the trigger on a new purchase always lifts the spirits, especially when it's this spectacular.

Wishing everyone a great week

Congrats on your new purchase, Jon! Enjoy.

SOTD is Toni Gard, a lovely, powdery almondy delight.

Wish you all a good start to your week!

No Monday-itis here, but then again, I will get tired by Thursday.

Terry, very nice to see you in person. That shade of crimson is very becoming on you, might I add? Plus them dimples!

Languid liquers mood continues today with Fath de Fath.

Hello all. A sample of Robert Piguet Baghari.

Mild and sunny here in SE Florida this AM. I am wearing Richard James.
It's quite mild here too today, just a cool wind.

I have just re-discovered my bottle of Neonatura Cocoon by
Yves Rocher. Very nice at this time of year.
Having a Yves St. Laurent moment for the past week. Changing to Rive Gauche rather than Cinema today! Mild weather here. 50's this morning with expected highs of 75. My work week is at an end rather than beginning as I work weekends. Hope everyone has a lovely Monday - or at least a bearable one.
Good morning everyone -

No snow here, either - 70s and sunny again! We'll probably be having another green Christmas.

I'm in vintage Métal by Paco Rabanne. Y'all have a great day!

You do make me laugh, really. More sleek than the average bear, are you?

Hi Dundee! It was snowing down here last night too. Keep cosy!

Really gorgeous pic tdem'

Sampling all sorts today.

Sunny and mild here, too, with highs in the upper 50s! I know, I know, gift horse and all that, but what the heck??? It's supposed to be cold and snowy this time of year! And we really, *really* need snow to break this awful drought.

Anyway, a belated Happy Anniversary to RHM and Mr. RHM! Congratulations!

Nice purchase, Jon! A little pre-holiday self-giving? I'm going to be doing some of that myself, I suspect.

It felt too warm for my lovely ambers and patchoulis today, so I'm in CdG Jaisalmer, which feels sharp and bright today.

Happy Anny to the RHMs.

NOT ENOUGH HOURS IN THE DAY! GOTTA BOOGIE ...

Good morning everyone! Today I'm wearing Hot by Ralph Lauren

I am wearing my sample of Slumberhouse's Sova, which I'd been thinking about ever since I wore it last time. It reminds me of spicy apricot jam with honey.

My my, we've been busy today!

Sofie & I took a 6:30 am trip to the emergency room. She's has a bruised coccyx & lower lumbar back strain. (Winter guard boot camp was Th, Fri & Sat.) So the girl is home for 3 days on anti inflamitories, anti spasmodics and pain meds. Coach is freaking out.

Our laundry drain backed up, so the plumber is here taking care of that & Himself is on the road (& out of state) until Tuesday evening.

I'm fine, the weather's great, I'm rocking & rolling with the punches. S'all good.

Think I'll douse myself in Annick Goutal Eau du Sud: "Citrus, Chypre, Green (Bergamot, Persian lime, grapefruit, mandarine, verbena, peppermint, basil, hint of jasmine and vetiver, patchouli, oakmoss)" http://www.annickgoutal.com/en/perfu...au+du+sud.html

Wow, look at the pretty lady! Lovely avatar, tdem!

RHM, I'm lovin' your approach to your hectic day! I shall take a lesson!

Joining the Red Hot Mama in Goutal today, Le Mimosa for me. Cloudy and lots of fog here but we are nearly 60 degrees-and it's December! I'll take it!
So many gorgeous scents on everyone today!

I'm wearing Iris Silver Mist and wishing I had put on a little more or brought a sample with me. Not that it wears off fast, but because it's one that I really love to wallow in.

I wore L'Heure Bleue today

Mike, I totally agree with you. The opening is a bit of a hot mess, which I love, and then it just gets really smooth and sexy. I think.
Ah, thank you sweet peeps for the very kind comments. It's rare that a photo doesn't catch me in full deer-caught-in-headlights mode, so I figured what the heck. xxoo

RHM, so sorry for your girl! I hope she feels better ASAP.

Evening All,

Love the pics today, Tdem's avatar included
No.5 - 80's EdP tonight.
Best to all.

Good evening fragrant folk. Today has been a Jicky day with numerous top ups for that wonderfully weird opening
post #35 of 45
I'm wearing L'Air du Desert Marocain today. The weather is unseasonably warm, temps near 70! I'm actually wearing a short sleeved top today with no coat or jacket. Unbelievable. Work has been weird too, oddly slow. We usually slow down a little for the holidays, but this slowdown has started way too early. hmmm ... Getting hours cut is no fun.

RHM, hope Sofie feels better!

Happy Monday everyone!

Hi there!

I'm in La Perla for the afternoon, the old stuff ...I hate having to distinguish but it's recently gone under the knife, and according to Wolfie they really botched it.

Good gosh RHM, you need a break! Feel better soon, Sofie!

Congratulations!,

I was so curious how these new piguets would smell like, do they smell rich and natural as the old bottles?:-)

I agree so many nice pictures today and this one made me also laugh:-)

Also see someone wearing something from slumberhouse hehe , i have a feeling this might be special:-)

I was wearing Vanilia today......and testing some fragrances over again:-)

Yohji homme is definitely one of the most interesting male perfumes ever:-) like 2 perfumes in one unbelievable to me

Sleep well

Today was in Neil Morris Prowl. Beautiful weather here too; about 80f at the top of the day, and coldish in the evening.

Vanille Tonka by Parfums de Nicolai -- tried my sample tonight....It's so plush and snug, and spouse said "mmmMmmMMmm"

Sonoma Scent Studio Champagne de Bois.

Now that's more like it. After the disappointments of Tabac Aurea and Fireside Intense, finally I find something from my sample set which I like. It's a tad like Fumerie Turque, but at half the price.

My girl is finally sleeping. I had to go to work tonight but I was worried about leaving her at home alone. Sure I'm 1/4 mile from the house but still.....she's my heart.

So I arranged to have her young man (who lives 500 miles away) play Mario Kart on the Wii and talk to her on the phone. He was very sweet about it. I like him, he wears Guerlain Vetiver.

Eau du Sud was lovely and made an even better moral booster when I layered Eau d'Hadrien edp (before the emasculation of the scent) The two Goutals kept a happy nimbus around me for 4 hours. That's what I needed.

Dr appointment with the girl tomorrow afternoon. Fingers crossed everything's ok.

Tonight I need me some more Caron, Nuit de Noel parfum to keep things cozy & close.

Sure it does! ^^ I've gone through an entire bell jar already. Love it, although I could never wear it 2-3 days in a row. It is simply too much.

Wore Jicky Extrait for a.m. and Sous le Vent p.m.
