If you walked into a store and saw a bottle of Guerlain's 2011 Muguet in sealed box, would you buy it?

Well, not much to say about this, it's floral, it's fruity, it even has some "beach" feeling, but the game is too short and boring...how can they just think that someone would pay that price for...

Going on with my Gardenia state-of-mind... This one is my Holy Grail for Gardenia scents, maybe it's a tiny bit less realistic than "Gardez-Moi" (even though it contains mostly Gardenia...

First of all, It's a Gardenia phase for me, so I'm trying to sniff almost every Gardenia-based fragrance (wish I could try "Une voix noire", because I'm a leather-addict) and must admit that this...

Posh Cool Water Green Irish Tweed is undoubtedly a finer scent than its Davidoff cousin, of much higher quality, smoother, less of the somewhat stiff, aggressive wife beater vibe, alas as I...

That bright summery top note combines a restrained lemon, a full-on neroli and a rosemary note, that in the drydown turns greener. This transforms into a mint aroma with a hint of eucalyptus, and...

What's the price? I understand the Guerlain muguets are very expensive.
So far, Luca Turin's statement that the IFRAs restrictions have made it impossible to do a good muguet has held, so I would not buy, unless said bottle costed $10 or less. Rather, I'd spend the money, as I do, on vintage Diorissimo.

Pretty sure it was $520.00. I was able to get a brief sniff. They actually had two of them there. I found it to be a very nice scent, but agree with 30, very top heavy with Jasmine.
The funny thing is, I do not remember seeing them at the store before Guerlain's National Director of Fragrances was there this past weekend. After seeing those two, was hoping I was able to find a bottle of 180 ANS, but no such luck.
Truthfully, I was looking at it from the collectors value of a limited production, numbered series perfume, more so that actually wearing it.
