Vetyver by Carlo Corinto but there are so so many I like.

I did a poll on this question a couple of months ago with around 200 people voting and almost 100 people posting answers - the top three were Chanel Sycomore, Guerlain Vétiver, and Lalique Encre Noire. You might find that thread interesting: http://www.basenotes.net/threads/312...ver?highlight=

I love many, but my favorite is Les Nombres d'Or Vetyver by Mona di Orio.

The vetiver scents by Creed, Guerlain, Lanvin, Etro, Chopard, also the vetiver notes in Mugler Cologne.

Still have to try the ones by Givenchy, Lutens, CDG, Lalique, Dior, Chanel and more.

My favorite so far is Guerlain Vetiver Extreme. It is citrusy, crisp and clean with above average longevity and sillage.

Bourbon Vetiver

I can't pick! My favorites are Vetiver Pour Elle, Vetiver Tonka, and Turtle Vetiver Front.

Mona's Vetiver is way up there too...as is Sel de Vetiver, and on the days that I feel like an ultra pleasant vetiver I go with Dior's...

There are two sorts of vetiver scents, those that are highly refined, like Guerlains, Prada, Azzaro Pure Vetiver, Lanvins, Original Vetiver, Malazia Uomo and those scents that are more raw and smell closer to vetiver essential oil, like Lorenzo Villoresi, Etro and Roccobarocco.

My favourite is the Villoresi one, though Azzaro Pure Vetiver grabs me as the most over the top one.
Cheers,
Renato

Which vetiver has a strong burnt leaves note, because previously the old Sycomore in 2009 had that, but the recent bottle I got,it seemed heavy with sandalwood. I also have Encre Noir but I find it just laden with ISO-e after 30 minutes.

If you are looking for a very earthy Vetiver, LezNez Turtle Vetiver Front is the ticket.

I love the current Guerlain Vetiver

Guerlain - current and previous formulations.

If we have to have a super citrus one, then the new Carven is not that bad...

Absolutely!!!!! Mine too.

Vetiver Extraordinaire by Editions de Parfums Frederic Malle is my favorite so far. It smells the most like real vetiver. Note: I have not tried Encre Noir or Sycamore.
