Hardly any recent ones I can think of, most scent bargains I ever made are too far behind in the past to be truly detailed, explained, carefully described, even if still remembered. But with the holiday season coming up, I am planning to make a bargain out of purchasing fragrance gift sets, offering good price/quality ratios on both the cost of the juice itself and the matching scented grooming/cosmetics/beauty/body care etc. products.

I got the uber-rare, much-coveted discontinued gem 'Luciano' by Pavarotti for a little over £10 from eBay. Sadly, due to a cold, I am reduced to gazing wistfully at the bottle (which bears a striking resemblance to the great tenor's sturdy frame) and dreaming of the magical aromas which dwell within.

Have you gotten a fake of GPH2 before? I would think this would not only be a VERY hard one to fake, unless the original bottle was used, and even then it would be difficult. I also don't see it as a frag counterfeiters would waste much time on faking, as it isn't in the Creed caliber price range, and wasn't a huge commercial success creating any real great demand for it.

Anyway, I also recently picked up a bottle of GPH2 for $50 shipped & it's absolutely the real deal, no questions about it.

I got the same and don't worry, it's real. That guy on ebay had excellent feedback, and some of it was specifically regarding GPH2. And besides that, I'm using it and it smells great.

I wouldn't call it a steal...but I got MFK Aqua Universalis for about $100 less than retail and Mona's Oud for probably $200 less than retail. Also a very full bottle of Vanille Galante for $140.

Of course that was completely negated with some Serge Bell Jar purchases...damn US markup.

I had some problems with these guys, and can't recommend using 'em.
I like scentedmonkey.com and beautyencounter.com for some of the better deals out there in cyberspace.

Varvatos Vintage 125mL for $30

I abstained from vintage Dior Homme for $35 100mL... Never really cared for it, Have to try the reform though with the amped up Cocoa.
