your perfect fragrance collection :)

if you could make a perfectly wearable collection for yourself, what perfumes would it include? condition is you wear them at least once a month so cant be greater then 30 perfumes in it i have included also things i never smelled but think would fit!!

my perfect collection would go like this atm:

1 Vanilia by L Artisan
2 vintage Shalimar EDP, if i could have it, that would substitute EDT and EDC i have now
3 Sacrebleu, Pdn
4 Le Temps d un fete, PdN
5 vintageJoy perfume, did not try it but i know i would like it
6 from Serge Lutens: Bois de violette...never tried it but wish to
7 Comme des garcons 3
8 La Myrrhe
9 Vero profumo: Onda..not tried yet, but so many positive reviwes
10 Rubj as well not tested
11 Ubar
12 Gold for woman
13 31 Rue Cambon
14 Maharanih intense PdN
15 Frederic Malle L eau d hiver
16 one iris perfume: 28 La Pausa or Iris silver mist, cant decide

from those, i have only 7 .... my 13 perfumes that did not make it:

cuir de russie - dont enjoy barnyard smell that much but could become one i like
no 22 - i would gladly swap it
insolence edp- think bois de violette would be better
fracas - i prefer sacrebleu
visa- too girly
timbuktu- change of heart after wearing it
dia- would gladly swap it
odalisque-...chypre, a bit serious like dia
cologne pour le soire- hm .....indifferent
nicolai pour homme- masculine
breath of god- even more masculine
tommy girl- cheap synthetic
aqua alegoria pamplelune- i would take cologne


how about you? i know it takes some time to write a post here but would be so nice to hear how would you make your perfect one today....or you have it allready?

wheras your lists with more experience might stand the test of time better

if you ever come again i suggest one totaly different part: Plitivice....its beautiful lakes and waterfalls all in turquoise colours like this :

hehe yes....i would not say Fracas and Sacrebleu are simmilar in notes...not at all...but that sweety exotic feminine thing i liked in fracas-tuberose- is more wearable for me in Sacrebleu, that composition is so uniquely done, that i could not compare it to any other perfume i have tried, it amazes me and i can wear it wherever i go, feeling confident...Fracas is the league on its own...its just the matter of my taste

Sarrasins should have made on my list too becasue i was eophoric when i tested it 1st time! but vintage Joy perfume is in competition, must try that bois de violette then i will make final decision...

Bandit i found very interesting when i first smelled it, in the drydwon was so gorgeous, but i was new into fragrances and realized i could not pull it through...maybe now i could
L heure bleue is warmer and drier desert then Tauers dessert Maroccan ...i would like to include it but was trying to be more realistic , dont want to be hooked on vintage stuff where ebay is my only resource, its so not for me so far Shalimar is still my unfullfiled wish

Yes cuir de russie is like barnyard at the first sniff....still hehe...its bitter, then too much iris i am thinking vintage stuff was more like buttery less dry...but cant know, so for me its bit mechanical we share Chanels Eau de cologne its so so nice!!! my summer wish!

have not tried diorissimo vintage....but the new one is so fresh , spring , green....for that purpose i chose from PdN Le temps d un fete....my goal would be then...when i make my perfect collection to use it up full

@whimsicaldiva......i agree , some scent just cant be worn on hot days and some are pale on cold days....thats the truth...would be probably on average that i would wear cologne more often during summer days and Onda perfume or Homage, or Gold for woman during cold days....i have tried the last one on a warm day,it was so suffocating
....the ones i bought during winter i like more in the winter! ...i did not buy Le temps d un fete, because tested it on a hot day....it doesnt work well then
