Good morning all - making the most of another promising day here and already managed a spectacular sighting a few minutes walk from our own front door this morning.

Off for pre-Xmas drinks and nibbles at a neighbours in a couple of hours - will be wearing Amouage Reflection.

Wishing everyone a great Sunday

Morning All,

What a fantastic way to start the day, Jon ! I am jealous. No kingfishers lurking outside my front door (sadly). Plenty of blue / great / coal tits at the feeders, however.

Somewhat bleary-eyed today. Wearing Chanel Cuir de Russie (vintage EdT).

Wishing everyone a lovely Sunday.

Hello all. A sample of Calypso by Robert Piguet.

I'm sampling Grossmith Saffron Rose today. I was expecting love and fireworks from this one, but none of these actually happened.

Jon, what a lovely way to start us off. Thank you and enjoy your pre-Christmas drinkies 'n snacks.

Had a good rummage through the sample and decant pile this morning and the winner is Bvlgari Jasmin Noir.
Notes include green sap, gardenia, sambac jasmine absolute, satin almond, precious woods, tonka bean and licorice

Best to all.

Morning all. Will spend most of the day ensconced in the home study working, so Voyage d'Hermes is the closest I'll get to going anywhere today. Enjoy your day everyone. x

Robert Piguet's Musk Blanc Femme. Now that I have another bottle enroute, I feel I can indulge (yes, I know it' silly)

ZIbeline, welcome back -- you were missed the whole lot!

HdP 1876.

From a sample vial it's very nice but unsure if it's different enough from the rest of my vetivers to merit a full bottle purchase...

Thanks so much. I have had a tremendous lot going on in my life. Relationship stuff, family events, work and now school as I am finishing up another degree at my advanced age! Of course I am still wild about fragrances, but honestly not constantly reading about perfumes helped me develop some restraint. On a previous thread, I referred to myself as a collector and that is true. The past months have helped me be more focused, less trendy and a whole lot less compulsive.
I missed you all too!

Jon, you've outdone yourself with your four selections: photos, fragrance and music.
Hey, girl Zib! Nice to see you.
Boucheron edp. This scent has the power to turn a frown upside down. Love it.
Rain forces me to surrender landscape work. Will now sketch and make lists for spring. We're setting a record for greatest number of days without snow.
Hugs, special peeps.

Hello everyone -

We're having a lazy morning here ...just getting ready to go to Mom & Dad's for their big ol' Sunday brunch, which is honestly one of the best brunches to be found in New Orleans, minus the jazz trio.
I'm in Caron Pour Une Femme. Y'all have a good one!

How lovely, Jon.

SOTD has been Une Voix Noire.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, everyone!

Such beautiful photos, Jon! Thank you

I had intended to wear Goutal Ambre Fetiche but accidentally grabbed PG L'Ombre Fauvre. Luckily, I still get amber and funk, just in a slightly different way than I expected.

No. 5 parfum for me today.
It's good to hear from you again, Zibeline!

I'm wearing JM White Lilac & Rhubarb today. I find this fragrance appropriate for all seasons, so far. We'll see when there's snow on the ground, but I think I will like it then as well.

Lovely start of the thread! Thank you Jon.

I'll join you Tauers' Incense Rose.

We've been doing all sorts of holiday things around the house. I'm off to work soon for more Frank Sinatra Christmas music.

Sticking with roses for the afternoon, I'm now in Frederic Malle's Une Rose.

I'm wearing Houbigant Orangers en Fleur today. My second wearing, and while I really like it, I am not lemming a FB. This will not overtake my two favorite orange blossom scents: SL Fleurs d'Oranger and By Kilian Sweet Redemption. For those of you who have found the SL too much of a heavyweight, give Orangers en Fleur a try. There is no cumin here (a note that some find hard to wear) and while it packs a punch, it is more in the middleweight class.

Happy Sunday to everyone ...
