Chanel, Egoiste

I just purchased Chanel, Egoiste direct from Chanel. Im pretty happy w the price compared to the quality of the juice.

First, i wanted to buy from Chanel bc i can hardly findthe stuff anywhere online and if i do find it then the prices are jacked up heavily.

Secondly, i knew if i purchased from Chanel then the juice would be new stock or at least the best stock available.

Third, EVilbay, hell no!

Just curious if anyone else has had or is having these issues?

What issues?

Seems like everything turned out fine.

Issue not detected.

I also think Chanel is the best palce to buy unless you are able to get a good discount at Nordstroms or Saks (which I am waiting for so I can finally buy a FB of this stuff)

Yep, worked out, was just wondering if anyone else hard a hard time finding it anywhere, other than from Chanel. In all honesty, the prices at Chanel.com in terms of fragrances are, IMHO, are reasonable.

I bought a 1.7 oz a while back when they sold Chanel at Fragrancenet.

I got my most recent Egoiste at Nieman Marcus in Las Vegas, and I believe it's on their website as well.

Chanel took some others off retail stores with Egoiste, Anteus(if I'm spelling it right), and Allure Homme Edition Blanche. Chanel also has a great return policy. They said use it a couple of times and if you don't like it send it back. So I hope that helps. Sometimes you just have to go right to the source since their prices really never change.

Here in the States, Egoiste (like Antaeus) has a very limited distribution, only a few dept stores and the Chanel store. And I'm with you, at that point, it's just better to buy it directly from them.

I've purchased severe of the exclusives from Chanel directly. Like you said I like that you know it's legit. Also you get those nice little black Chanel bags as part of the packaging!

Chanel fragrance is never on sale, so better off just buying directly from Chanel

Egoiste is very easy to find here in Singapore. In fact, discount shops tend to have lots of Egoiste and run out of the more popular ones like Bleu.

So far, I've ordered 2 bottles of Egoiste EDT directly from Chanel's website. And as for as I know, the only promo that they usually have is free 2-day shipping.

Well I got mine from Selfridges in central London (of course I am based in the UK).

The tester bottle they had out for Egoiste was revolting. I've not opened my purchase yet, but the sample I have of Egoiste was really good. I sure hope the Selfridges purchase was a good idea - if their tester is anything to go by, which has probably been out there since the time of Julius Caesar, this juice could be quite old!!!

Thanks for the responses, i wonder if Chanel will ever discontinue Egoiste.

Nordstrom carries Egoiste, Pour Monsieur and Anateus.

Bought it on Ebay, good price, great condition.

I purchased a FB of Egoiste a few months back at Neiman Marcus because I was there anyway. Buying directly from Chanel would be my next choice. I wouldn't bother with getting this online anywhere else.

Definitely a scent that deserves no taking chances from Internet discounters, hough their sites may be good and their prices affordable for legit, genuine scents, this is one of the few fragrances truly worth getting at almost any price and often, at least to my nose, displaying a complexity and subtlety more befitting niche.
