Anyhow, since I've sort of developed my sense of smelling with regards to fragrances over the last couple years, today I went on a fragrance smelling spree. I have over 100 strips of various houses and fragrances from Neiman Marcus, Macy's, Nordstrom, and Saphora. There was a great variety of Creeds, Tom Ford's, Gucci, YSL, Dior(a couple), Versace, and then of course Chanel
Me personally, I've never spent too much time smelling Chanel before. I don't know why. For the first time, I smelled Egoiste and Antaeus
My god, out of the 100+ fragrances I ended up smelling initially and the dry down later with my dad, those two made my top 5 of which me and my dad both agreed belonged there. Bleu De Chanel and Allure Homme Sport were also held in high regard and made the top ten easily and could have made the top 5 as well.
Tobacco Vanille, Black Orchid, and Dior Homme made up the other 3.
The other surprising ones that me and my dad both liked and I had smelled before but not with the nose that I possess today: Spicebomb and 1 million..Yes 1 million. In fact, my dad said it was his second favorite and he's 64 years old

However, my dad didn't get chance to smell Millesime Imperiale by Creed but to me that and Tobacco Vanille stole the night. I've smelled MI before as well as TV but with my more trained nose they smell completely different and are absolutely invigorating
However, TV can become cloying from the tonka bean and some girl at Macy's said eww that guys fragrance is pungent- said a hot 30 year old
of which I responded: this "ewww" fragrance costs more than your whole wardrobe bi*tch...Ok, so I didn't say that but I wanted to. But "I respect that"-AL
Anyhow, am I the only one that agrees that the Chanel house is purely timeless.
