The Originals are still the Greatest... Eau Sauvage EDT

Eau Sauvage EDT, but own and like both.

Have a bottle of both. The EDT gets more use.

Never could get into the original - the Parfum is what I needed!

I have both. The original is superior.

Parfum is better IMO.
The 2 are completely different.
There is a lot of hate aimed at the name of the Parfum, yet the haters don't do a review of the fragrance itself. It's a pity so many people can't get passed the use of the name Sauvage in the Parfum.

I've tried both. I prefer the Parfum. Lasts a lot longer and projects better. The original Eau Sauvage is also nice, just not as nice.

There is some truth to what you are referring to, but in my case I not only have a great deal of disdain for Dior trying to tie a pretty much completely different scent to the classic that earned its place in history... but I *also* disliked the Parfum if viewed as a completely different scent entirely due to its cloying combination of wintergreen laced vetiver and myrrh. To me it just added insult to injury by Dior naming it after the classic Eau Sauvage. Each to their own though...

The original is a masterpiece with an average drydown, the new one is a simple but overall great scent.
The poll is getting hot, 6-6.

I much prefer the parfum. One of my best buys of 2012.

The original never amounted to anything on my skin. The parfum on the other hand seems to have been made for me and is in my top ten favorites now.

I'm surprised at the results of the poll at least up to now. I love the original and I think it's much more versatile. If I must choose I go with that but the Parfum is good too.

They're completely different than each other and the EDT is a matepiece that Dior will hardly ever be able to achieve again.
This is one of the few cases where it becoming a skin scent doesn't bother me. It's still worth it.

I think Fahrenheit, Dior Homme, and Dior Homme Intense are flat out masterpieces. I think Dior knows how to deliver the good stuff.

If I could, I'd choose both, but failing that, the EDP, simply because the notes I know and love are being further heightened.
