There is a lot of hate aimed at the name of the Parfum, yet the haters don't do a review of the fragrance itself. It's a pity so many people can't get passed the use of the name Sauvage in the Parfum.
There is some truth to what you are referring to, but in my case I not only have a great deal of disdain for Dior trying to tie a pretty much completely different scent to the classic that earned its place in history... but I *also* disliked the Parfum if viewed as a completely different scent entirely due to its cloying combination of wintergreen laced vetiver and myrrh. To me it just added insult to injury by Dior naming it after the classic Eau Sauvage
. Each to their own though...
