Tomorrow Howard Stern is going to reveal a new expensive lady killer fragrance he discovered

In this morning's show he said he has started wearing a pricy fragrance that drives women nuts, including his girlfriend. He said he couldn't remember the name, but will get it and tell us tomorrow. Just saving this thread for someone to post it (I'm not sure I'll be able to listen to the show).

What do you think it is? Green Irish Tweed?
I think GIT is too popular. Many celebrities already wear it. It has to be something else

Another vote for Aventus.

Baba Booey pour homme

It's probably aventus. Although, if he mentioned the words "expensive" then I doubt it's Aventus as a couple hundred dollars isn't much for the sick bastard.
A lot of people listen to Stern. I really hope its not Aventus. Hopefully its some French name he can't pronounce correctly.
Oh du Very Large Bank Account. The fake t*tted hos love it!!!!!!!!!!!!! YMMV

"GWER-lane Veh-TY-ver Pore Ellee. Whatever. This shit smells awesome."

But it's Aventus. HAS to be. Our little secret is SO gone.

I'll live.
It's Aventus, he just couldn't remember the batch number.

Figures! Just ordered myself a 17 oz backup flacon and now I get to smell like Howard for years to come. Worst. Christmas. EVER!
Seems like the kind of guy who would wear some Tom Ford crud. Platinum Egoiste would be more appropriate.
Aventus would be a laugh for you Creed-worshipers...Every drone on the street would run out and buy it. The whole country would smell like pineapples and you all would be pissed b/c everyone smelled like you!!!

Someone call in and remind him to tell us!

The number is 1-888-927-7465
I find it hard to believe that someone would forget the name of the new pricey fragrance he's wearing. Has that ever happened to you?

He'll probably forget to tell us (I swear he said he would, yesterday, though).

It doesn't matter any way, because if it's not aventus or at least another creed then he's wrong.

Wow, so that thread you made about true scents really was a Creed plug...

I was just making a joke in light of the earlier comments, but yes Creeds are the most natural smelling.
Did he ever spill it?
I listened to the entire show today and the topic never came up.
Honestly, who cares. You'd have to be a pretty desperate individual to listen to Howard Stern for fragrance advice, I'd trust a company shill sales assistant over his opinion.

And if it is Aventus, that would be good news as maybe than it would change the current designer fragrance landscape if for some reasons Aventus sales spike.
Howard doesnt have to say it. We all know its Creed Aventus!
Oh wow, it's Howard Stern. OMG.
What's a Howard Stern? (from the tone of this thread, I don't think I even want to Google it...)

Pick up some trash from here and there and then put it in a 500 million dollar trash can. Howard Stern is the trash can.
I really hope it's nothing I like.

Maybe it's a sneaky plug for his own celebrity scent? That might be for the best.

Not even Creed fans deserve to be linked to Howard Stern.

Haters gonna hate.

I like Howard Stern a lot. At its best, his show was one of the things that got me out of bed in the morning. Maybe it's a pale shadow of its former greatness -- opinions differ wildly on that point -- but it's still entertaining. Yes, lots of it is trash, and even lower than trash. But Howard is a better interviewer than people give him credit for, and he gets celebrities talking about things no one else will. His interviews of Billy Joel and Paul McCartney, to name two, were some of the most insightful I've ever heard.

And, to get back on topic, I would be interested to know what Stern, who has more money than God and has dated some of the most beautiful women in the world, thinks is a ladykiller scent. Especially since he is about as far from the typical basenote community member as could be imagined!
If Howard is serious about the scent then really want to know what it is. I use to listen to him and find him funny but I just don't have the time any more.

I agree. I have never listened to a better interviewer than Howard Stern. Terrestrial radio pales in comparison to his show. When I listen to interviews, whether it be on tv or terrestrial radio, I usually tune out. But I'm actually very interested in Howard's interviews, he always somehow makes it interesting, entertaining, and funny no matter who the guest is. I don't agree with everything he says, but at the very least, the guy is genuine and doesn't bs.

Regarding the fragrance, I'm curious to know which one he was referring to. My guess would be Aventus, Millesime Imperial, or Tobacco Vanille.

It can't be denied that for the first ten years HS was original and funny. The last ten years of his carreer have been a horror show. The army of clones he spawned have been even worse. Morning radio has become a wasteland of crude vulgarity with no original thoughts or formats. I tune in from time to time because of the many hours I have to fill but find I mostly turn it off in disgust and plug my headphones into my kindle.

True. People that hate him have usually never even listened to an hour of the show. Its probably Aventus or another Creed that Beth picked up while shopping. I tweeted Ronnie a few months ago and told him to try out some Aventus but he's still sticking with the Mambo.
I used to listen to him for stretches when he was on terrestrial in the 80s and 90s. He could be astonishingly smart and insightful, and then he'd go and say or do something truly asshole-ish and I'd stop listening for a while. You know the recent case in the UK where the Australian DJs prank called the hospital where Kate was being treated for morning sickness (and where the nurse who was fooled by them killed herself)? Howard practically invented that kind of shtick. It used to drive me bats.

Still, I was curious about the fragrance, but disappointed now to see that this is actually just another Aventus shilling thread.
I have listened to Howard since his days over the air in DC and am definitely a big fan. That said, I could not care one bit about what his favorite scent is and/or what he considers is a "lady killer" (a ridiculous notion in and of itself). He is a great radio host and quite funny but he has no known expertise in judging fragrances, IMO. I think I will trust my own nose on this one.

Not true. Many people used to be fans but found a funnier show.

It's kind of unfair to the crazy fragrance people when celebs do this, though. We go batshit trying to find our special fragrance and some bozo goes on the air and ruins it for everybody. Well, on the flip side, I found out about Black Afgano and Seven Veils from DL Hughley on the Opie and Anthony show, so it works both ways.

If a scent can get that man laid; I need to know what it is... it'll be proof positive that scents do make a difference and I can finally justify my collection.

Sadly, this borders satire, truth and a confession way too closely for me to feel at all comfortable.

The greatest thing about Howard Stern show is Sal and Rich
post #48 of 77
I'm bumping this. I like Stern alright but am more interested in what scent he says he is wearing. Update listeners.. In not one
post #49 of 77
I listen to Stern everyday on Sirius and no, he never ended up bringing up his ladykiller cologne. I tried to call but its impossible to get through, in 20 + years of listening i have only got through on the phone lines a couple of times.

Bad thing is, as of yesterday they are on a long holiday break.

He said it on Monday's show, shortly before the news, after discussing a story on Pizza Hut's new pizza perfume. He said that he got a gift cologne that drove everyone including Beth nuts, and that it was "pricey" but that he couldn't remember then name, although he said he would give us the name on Tuesday. Which he never did . . .

I thought it was interesting because he hates cologne generally.

Well looks like we'll never find out the name of this mysterious beast

I used to listen to him because that was really the only reason to have Sirius. Problem with his show is that I can only take so much stupid. Making fun of the retarded kid in class only gets so many laughs and he seems to think the well of retarded jokes is bottomless.
He just revealed it a few minutes ago... It's:

Bond No. 9 Baba Booey
He's never going to get back to it and say what it is. If he ever brings it up again he still wont remember the name. He doesnt even know the words to Led Zeppelin songs that he's heard 500 times.
Someone tweet Ronnie, he probably knows @rmlimodriver69
He responds occasionally if you tweet at him.

I emailed the show and said it was very important to inform his fans of the batch number if the scent is Aventus.

Holy jeez, so next live show will be freaking January... Are they even gonna do the History of Howard Stern this year? Or are we in for three weeks of the "TV Cast Special?"

* in Howard's case, worth 1/2 billion and currently makes 80 million a year.

I was on the phone with Bond No. 9 yesterday. They never mentioned any of this Baba Booey.
