Hello Ladies and Gentlemen. Wish you all the best

In the deep mid-winter I am wearing Youth Dew Amber
Nude. I have a hair appointment in a few hours time and
hope the stylist appreciates my scent - if not, bad luck!

Good Morning. Had to stay late at work since a colleague of mine got unwell, have not checked BN in the late afternoon.

Kalli, to answer your question -- no, not yet. Last time I checked on Friday, will check again today or tomorrow. Thanks for following through.

Foustie, with my oweing you a couple of packages, please expand your To Try section so that I could include Briar Rose together with some others when I DO send a package, OK?

Catnip_too, I do not think we have had any transactions before, so please PM me your address and also expand your To Test list so that no resourses are wasted on sending just one decant. How does this sound?

Hugs atcha too, Kiliwia.

Well, I am off today. My friend and I are going shopping -- she said "I will show you MY places". Not that I particularly need anything (except for, perhaps, a stop by WorldMarket to stock up on imported chocolates and fruit jams?), but the whole idea sounded like fun when she called us last night at 11:30 pm (or, maybe I was too sleepy then?). Or, which I think now is the most valid reason, she just needs some girl bonding/supporting time, you know how us women are?

Thank You Wolfie. I know, I never get around to my "To Try" section.

Well, The Lipstick Rose is lovely and very well executed but it is somehow just a bit blowsy for me personally. I am comparing it to Drole De Rose which is more comfortable.

Jon, did you take that first pic? You take good pics if you did.

Good morning, Jailia today. Dramatic day yesterday at work, hoping today is calmer.

So did not get to post yesterday, but wore Tabac Aurea, for something completely different

I'm curious about "blowsy" - where I come from it means dowdy, frumpy, sloppy - is that what it means to you, too? From the context I'm thinking it's not, exactly ...but you never know! I love both Lipstick Rose and Drole de Rose btw. It's their girly, flirty retro-glamour that appeals to me, but they do require the proper mood and situation ...especially LR, which can be a bit flamboyant, while DdR is more on the coy side. You can definitely take her more places, lol!

Following Roberto's lead - a 'new' Leather scent (a category of scents I rarely wear to the office).

Cuirelle by Ramon Monegal (from a sample I got at the Vegas BN meetup)

Nice, but the opening made me a little queasy (not sure what that's all about?)

I know J takes fine pix, but I'm going to guess this pic was shot in the States because the seed heads look like an American plant -- Common Evening Primrose (Oenothera biennis). Although I'm pretty sure the Brits did import the plant for their gardens.

I'm layering Attache-Moi (an amber & musk juice) with Sexy 9 (blackberry, vanilla, musk and patchouli).

E., I think from the context it means "dressy, posh, the one that makes one dawn on your pearls and not to slouch. Oh yeah, do not forget rouge either!"

I am wearing Tokyo Milk Bulletproof. Mm, cardamom. I am also apparently wearing Slumberhouse Kere, which is right into the top I have on (fresh from the laundry). Fortunately, they go fairly well together. Kere is kind of a killer, very penetrating and almost medicinal in an herbalist way.

I'm traveling for work this week, so it was an early (3:30 am) morning. I need a second wind, so I'm going hit the fitness center, then treat myself to a 90 minute massage. Boy, do I need it. :-)

I'm in Daim Blond today. I so love this one. It works for me in any season.

There's no pulling the wool over your eyes Mrs Q . Regrettably, I can't claim any credit myself, but it was appropriate for the conditions here today and seemed worthy of sharing.

Good evening from a freezing, wind swept Milan! No problem for me, as I'm keeping warm wrapped in Ambre 114!

Lol, thanks Wolfie. Yeah, that's what I thought ...plus maybe a bit overly-ornate, or as you once put it, "too noisy." I get it.
