According to the Aztec, The Mayans believed that the world will end on Dec 21 2012 and I think Nostradomus predicted this as well. I dont buy it myself, but just in case, what will you be wearing on this day ?

So, forget Christmas and New Years and dont even bother sending me gifts, I wont use them this time.

There are people that really believe this. Solar flair, EMP, Tsunami ?

Nostradamus predicted the end of the world some six or eight years ago. I remember because Time magazine's cover that week was "World Ends This Week" and cited the relevant explicit Nostrodamus passage (for a change, he wasn't vague about the date).

Anyhow, I think I'll probably wear Fujiyama Homme.

According to many scholars the date has actually come and gone because of leap years. If they're right then obviously there's nothing to worry about. Either way, at this point I'd say it'll probably be vintage Le 3me Homme just because that would the way I'd go out if it really were predictable.

I don't know... they saw the end of the world but they didn't see Hernan Cortes and his armies coming... something was wrong about those mayans...

The Mayans are not predicting the end of the world. It is just the day when their calendar resets. Kind of like how modern calendars reset every year on December 31 at 12:00 am. As mentioned above, the end of the world was hyped up by the media and Hollywood to sell news stories and movies. Take a look at any of the remaining Mayan communities, theyre not freaking out about all of this, and would probably be laughing at us for doing so.

Let's just hope (and pray) that the world "ends as we know it" and our consciousness transcends into another dimension where we learn more about the meaning of our existence...war is not the answer, we are destroying our planet and killing our oceans, and creating separatism more than ever in religious beliefs among ourselves. Let us be...enlightened, and become more united.

In that case, I will wear something nice - with hope that change will occur that day and perhaps mankind will shift its polar differences within its divisions of the population. For a day like that, I hope to rejoin the Earth and glorify the beauty of the majestic root.

My SOTD will be a wonderful vetiver - Vintage Guerlain.
