Hi guys,

What's your favorite frangrance for this holiday? What would you wear this christmas, new years eve, etc... I'm looking for something new and warm, or a new classic.

L'Instant de Guerlain pour homme - wonderful cold evening scent, I can figure wearing it with a turtleneck and flannel jacket

Burberry London as it's Christmas in a bottle.

Burberry London, L'Instant de Guerlain pour homme Extreme, Tobacco Vanille for me!

Burberry Brit New Year's Edition is also another "Christmas in a bottle" fragrance. It's pine, incense, and nutmeg. If Burberry London smells like Christmas night then this one smells like Christmas morning.

Amouage Epic Man owing to its festive ingredients (Frankincense, myrrh, etc)
Chanel Egoiste as this just feels royal in the cold
Terre d' Hermes Pure Parfum

Yep, Burberry London is great at Christmas. The only problem is getting it to last through the day.

Another that reminds me of Christmas is Ralph Lauren's Purple Label. I think it has more projection and longevity than BL, and it definitely reminds me of the green/eucalyptus smells of Christmas.

Serge Luten's Rousse always puts me in the Holiday mood. One of the best cinnamon fragrances out there. It reminds me of those cinnamon & clove scented pine cones and decorative brooms they sell in the home decorating stores this time of year.

Others I like around this time include Diesel Zero Plus Masculine, V&R Spicebomb, A*Men original, Dior's Hypnotic Poison, & CK One Shock.

Tobacco Vanille + Oud Wood (layered)
Pure Malt

Just tried my sample of Norne from Slumberhouse... it's smells like the sap from a Christmas tree... It may just end up being my 2012 Holiday Scent!

Thanks guys, ordering some samples right now

Count me in for the Burberry London on Christmas. New Year's Eve might be Bvlgari pour Homme Soir or vintage Dolce & Gabbana pour Homme.

Serge Lutens Fille en Aiguilles smells very Christmas-y to me, with the pine note, incense, spices, etc.

Nothing special that I wouldn't wear on any other day. But then again - maybe I'll go with Clive Christian No. 1 pure parfum.

Apart from Burberry London, I'd also like to suggest Declaration by Cartier.

L'Instant de Guerlain pour homme Extreme
Burberry London
Spicebomb

+++London
Agraria Balsam
Boucheron Jaipur
Goutal Encens Flamboyant & Myrrh Ardente

Bois des Iles Chanel is incredibly warm and a classic

As for the new classics I'd recommend Eau des Merveilles and L'Ambre des Merveilles - both great just differently nuanced

A classic cheapie- Charlie Red- I think purely for sentimental reasons.

Other than that, probably some warm gourmand scent.

Have to agree with Spicebomb this time of year. I hadn't worn it for several months but wore it tonight. It's a very nice holiday fragrance that mixes very well with the food and other assorted smells of Christmas.

Noel au Balcon. Not just because of the name, but it really is very Christmassy.
