What a way to start the day ! Thanks for the fab photo, Larimar.
I'm in the decidedly un-vampish Chanel Pour Monsieur.
Have a great Friday, folks.

Edit: To heck with it. Who can have too much LuLu in their life ?

Good morning from snowy Milan!
I'm preparing to get to work in a proper equipment- the fragrance will be a stealthy spritz of Myrrhiad (it's a Christmas present, but... come on, I'm alone in the house, who will notice?!): hot black tea and warm vanilla contouring burning myrrh- wouldn't it be perfect for a day like this?

talking about wine its so simmilar to perfume, i have ordered bottles of the best sweet red wine i have ever tried from peninsula Peljesac....

It's miserable and wet outside but I'm feeling great in vintage Opium parfum.

To all Lulu fans: 2012 brought us a new book Laura Moriarti The Chaperone. Not exactly about Louise Brooks, but I highly recommend it, thought-provoking and well-written. Many language art buffs will enjoy it, I am certain.

Ineke Hothouse Flower, that I did not understand yesterday at first application. It is not repulsive, neither it is a gardenia-based fragrance, but there is something about it that made me wear it again. More is coming.

Have a nice day.

Oh, thank goodness this week is almost over! My household has reached a whole new level of hectic this holiday season. Quarry will be interested to hear that work on my new roof has finally begun! I'm happy and grateful but it couldn't have come at a less convenient time. Just too much going on!

I am synced in Une Rose for the earthy truffles. This is a cold weather only scent for me and I have been so looking forward to this first winter wearing!

Happy Friday all. In synch today with the "of the earth" SL Vetiver Oriental. Resinous and smooth, with earthy vetiver at just the right amount for me

Wearing my Sonoma Scent Studio Incense Pure, a travel spray of which just arrived yesterday. I like it fine, but I find it a bit heavy, sweet and close (I see that it has amber in it, and I'm really starting to suspect that me and amber mostly don't get along). I think I prefer the open, airy quality of Avignon, as far as incenses go.

Cello, if I ever buy another SL, your SotD will be it. Not very widely worn, but very very smooth.

Changed into Perles de Lalique. Plummy, peppery roses with cedarwood.

Enjoy your trip, JR. Brugge is fantastic. One of my favorite chocolates is Leonidas.
