Polo Big Pony collection

Anyone own these? Or try these out? I am a HUGE fan of Polo Double Black and was looking into buying this collection as a whole but wanted to get feedback first. Btw I have tried the Orange a few times And I do enjoy its fruity dry down. Other then double Black I have never owned any Polo's.

If you mean the four Big Pony scents, they're okay, but none really grabbed me enough to buy, even at current somewhat marked down prices in discount stores. I don't think they rank with Double Black. They'd have to come down in price more for me to buy them.

Tried them but didn't care for them.

Not good at all

I like #1 quite a bit. Really nice lime & oak. Very fresh, vibrant scent. Not on the same level as Double Black though. Th Big Pony frags in general have very poor longevity & hardly any silage. #1 smells great to me, but is basically a short-lived skin scent. It's a shame, because it's a frag that could have a ton of potential, especially the awesome oak in the drydown.

I agree. My son wears the blue one really well.

They all smell like cheap mall scents, just atrocious stuff

Not a fan of the Big Ponies. When I tried these quite some time ago I recall that there was one that was better than the other three but it obviously made no real impression since I can't even remember which one it was.

The green smells best to me but it is too dismal to consider.

I could not believe that Polo would allow its brand name to be associated with these fragrances. They are terrible. I recall back in the day when Polo Green was out. Quality, old school juice. Polo will never produce a fragrance like that again.

Ha wow...I take it they are of no quality?

I also do not care much for them. I have #3 and #4 and will be giving them away to my brother. Terrible quality and very cheap.

Stay far away, even if you like Polo. Seek out Explorer instead.

I thought #3 was the best of a bad lot, but really this collection is a complete waste. There was a time when Ralph Lauren oversaw the creation of fragrances, but now he just licenses the Polo name.

What's Explorer like?

I wouldn't barge them with a touch pole.

Send these ponies to the glue factory...

Doesn't Double Black only last for about 10 minutes, or is that just for me?

Out of the Polo fragrances I found it to be quite good. It's been so long since I've smelled it though.

Actually No. 2 seems pretty close to Double Black to me, upon wearing it for the first time. Similar Chocolatey vibe but again not a big projector.
