Good morning, world!

How is everyone doing? Moday-itis? Or, rather, Tinsel-itis (too much of decoration and pre-Christmas shopping)?

Hermes Rouge is calling my name.

Morning Wolfie, morning everyone. Ha Ha love the image easyfish!

Some time ago our friend and my sister-in-L'eau PerfumedLady, sent me a lovely package with lots and lots of things to try. (She and I could just about swap wardrobes.) Some mornings I just feel like dipping into that package. This morning was one of those mornings. So, Nicolai Balkis for me today!

Have a good start to the week all.

Hello, everyone. It's strangely mild for December today.

Somehow gravitated towards the cool and abstract vibe of Tubereuse Criminelle this morning.

Have a great week <3

Good morning all!

My daughter left for school with a scratchy throat and head and stomach feeling unsettled...she wanted to try it, but I wondered how long she would last. Sure enough, an hour later she called me from the nurse's office to come get her and now she's back in bed.

SotD is Oolong layered with JM French Lime blossom. Oolong has a linden note and the JM accentuates that.

Oh, child, you're just too wonderful.

After the holiday rush is over, I think I will have to get myself to Sephora and do some sniffing as I've been in a scent rut for a few days. Funny how Boucheron just hit the button one day, and Shalimar spoke to me on another day, and then I didn't connect with anything for a few days.

For now, I have a dot of Cuir Beluga on one wrist and Kilian Prohibited on the other.

Be well, lovelies.

Happy Monday, everyone! I have the day off, but I have a lot planned for today ... so much to do this week before all the holiday festivities next week. I'm wearing OJ Woman today.

hugs to all ...

Ha-ha! I am so lucky to have such a witty sister-in-L'eau! Love it, hope you are prepared for lots of overuse of that phrase from me, Foustie!
Yes, we could just swap our wardrobes entirely and I'd be very happy! I've been missing my decant of Esvedra you sent; believe I could finish off that bottle for you. All your others too!

Balkis does not get enough love, I think. It's not as edgy as the other PdN's but it is a really lovely rose. Well worth considering for those of us who love the rosies.

I swiped a bit of RHM's Grand Amour from the Goutal pass (with permission!) and am wearing it today. Had thought Heure Exquise was my favorite Goutal green but this one is even more me. Such beautiful and clear florals, just love it!

SotD - Tobacco Vanille by Tom Ford (from a sample)

Woke up feeling a little blue, but now that I'm at the office with lots of work spread out in front of me I feel much more invigorated.

Like Foustie, I have oodles of samples spilling over everywhere in my wardrobe, today I wore one that I've only given a try once (I didn't really like it the 1st time):

Dangerous Complicity by Etat Libre d'Orange

Today it smells much nicer. Not sure if it's the scent or last night's Sova that is still on my skin so that means I'm layering the two.

"Sister in L'eau"? Great phrase indeed!

Caught a cold from my hubby, can hardly smell anything. Wearing Caron's Nocturnes in hopes that aldehydes will cut trough the haze.

Hello all. In the reissued Laura Ashley No 1. I have never tried the original, so can't say how it compares. I do like this, but find it a slightly tamer version of Gucci Envy.

So they finally reissued it!
This was my wedding day scent. I wonder where it will be sold in the USA-- has anyone seen it here yet?

Well, good evening all. Helped through a 12 hour workday by SSS Sienna Musk. It lasted as long as I did, LOL. Gone now, and I am going to shower and sleeeeeeeeeeeeeep.

What a busy day! I was in K de Krizia today, and I'm in L'Arte di Gucci this evening.

Have a good night, everyone.
