Your Most Worn Fragrances of 2012? - Page 2

1. Fille en Aiguilles
Hands down my favourite this year. It is my go-to winter/cold weather fragrance, and living in a country with such a short summer, it's no wonder it gets worn a lot.

2. Blu Mediterraneo Capri Orange
A distant second on my list. When it's warm or I want to feel summery, it's a juicy and cheerful fragrance.

3. Azemour les Orangers
Bitter, refreshing, a cool splash on the face kind of a scent.

4. Tilda Swinton Like This
Complex and comforting, a spicy wood-pudding fragrance.

Hot weather : Kouros , Capucci PH.
Cold weather : Fahrenheit , Opium PH , Rochas Man .

A year of truly exceptional olfactory pleasure, but if I had to choose just a few that I wore more often...

Vintage Paco Rabanne Pour Homme (my tried and true...for many years!)
Guerlain Vetiver (various bottlings, layered wearings)
Versace L'Homme (Original Vintage, 90's formulation and current)
Oscar de la Renta Pour Lui (Vintage)
Caron Pour un Homme (Vintage and current) - very frequently worn with Agua Lavanda splashed/layered on during the course of the wearing
Gucci Pour Homme Original (1976)
YSL Pour Homme (Vintage)
Zino Davidoff (Original Script Logo, layered with the reformulation)
Viktor & Rolf Antidote
John Varvatos John Varvatos

...and too many others that were often enjoyed to be listed, but these are the scents that stood out as most frequently worn by myself. Plus, there were special occasion bottles.

Looking forward to a New Year with hope and a continued passion to enjoy olfactory art.

Cheers.

Likely Mugler Cologne, Rochas Man, LeMale, Body Kouros, Dior Homme, and oddly, I like to spritz Oscar Pour Lui at bed time.

Wow, you count how many times you wear each fragrance. I respect that.

Did you record wearing's from the start of the year until December, since your top five only account for 151 wearing's throughout the year which is low, but means you've presumably worn other frags, or that some days you went frag free (I dread to think!)? :-)

Yes, I keep a log every year and I typically post a summary when I get a chance in January. I wear fragrance 99% of the time. Probably 4-5 days a year at most that are fragrance free.

My top 5:

5. Blue Sugar by Aquolina (love this stuff since I'm a "overly sweet frag" lover)

3. New Haarlem by Bond no 9.

1.) Paris Hilton Just Me For Men*
2.) Gucci Guilty Pour Homme
3.) Candie's for Men**

I feel like such a Frag-Noob compared to you guys. I'm definitely a "Mass Market" frag guy. I'm slowing changing; I am venturing out. I just started getting into Frags "seriously" in September of 2012.

*my signature scent

I only started keeping track once I signed up to BN this year, but looking at my scent of the day records, Sequoia is by far my most worn. I'm not sure it's my favourite, but it worked so well for me as an office scent through the winter.
