Hello there, fellow fumeheads I'm enjoying the run-up to Christmas in YSL Y (my late mother used to wear this in the winter and it reminds me of Christmas back home in Finland).

Good afternoon!
This morning, after having put in tiny jars some nice Moroccan spices I got as a present, I couldn't help but choosing Azemour Les Orangers as my SotD!

Foustie, a tiny dab of Tabac Blond is wonderful before going out to eat, I must admit it's my 'going-out-to-eat-at-a-fancy-restaurant' scant. Enjoy!
iodine - I love that stuff, I must get a decant of it soon.

Today for me it's:

Norne by Slumberhouse (first time from a sample)

Amazing stuff, I smell like the Ghost of Christmas Present. A very 'alive' forest scent. I love it.

Awww, that's so sweet you remembered 30R

Yes, two years today. Thanks to the generosity of others, we may get a little dinner or something. Hubs favorite scent is that Lady Million, so, of course it's got to be the sotd.

Happy Anniversary Mr. & Mrs. kalli! Did anyone ever tell you the first couple years are the hardest? It's true and you both deserve congrats for persevering. I know the future has lots of good things in store for you two!

Inspired by alfarom's lovely interview with Gérald Ghislain to wear my Tubereuse 1 today. Have a great day, gang!

I was on a business trip last week and wasn't able to post -- I missed you guys! It's good to be back.

Yes, a very happy anniversary to kalli and mr. kalli!

Donna, you smell wonderful!

Mike, I just tried Slumberhouse Baque from a sample, and that stuff stayed with me for nearly 30 hours! My goodness, it's wonderful! My bf loves Forest Walk from Sonoma Scent Studio, and he's intrigued by Norne. I may have to surprise him with a sample. You should sample Forest Walk if you haven't. It's really special.

I'm house twins today with Furriner in SL Fumerie Turque. YUMMY HONEY!!

Good Evening,

Great to see you back, Jon ! Hope your trip was enjoyable.
ExtremeK - Fumerie Turque is such a good scent, isn't it ? You smell uh- mazing.

Guerlain's Véga tonight, courtesy of a sample Larimar sent me many months ago. I really do like it a lot.
Best to all.

Oh, I almost forgot to post today!! I am in a sample of L'Artisan Vanilia, which I enjoy but maybe has a tad too much ylang ylang for me. If I sniff close on my arm, it smells much dryer and to my taste, but i keep getting that sweet, rich banana ylang ylang smell that makes me pause.

whitefluffy and I are scheming a mini meet up Should be fun, and past time the we met up.

Tonight I am going to continue my sampling with Guerlain Habit Rouge EDT, one that I have never smelled before and thought it about time to fix. Rubegon will be proud

@ PL:

Lol, ya I heard that..also first 10 years is hardest, after 10 is hardest, the 7 yr. itch, blah blah. I think it depends on the marriage maybe. But don't really believe in all of that stuff. No marriage is without disagreements and stuff here and there...but love is greater than any of that stuff and if both really value their marriage, it makes it a whole lot easier. I think there's a lot of stuff out there that can discourage a marriage but you gotta fight bad with good. Communication is important. Also, not holding on to grudges... as it's a waste of time. Settling arguments in a timely manner and forgiving mistakes..also good. It's about love and respect.

Thanks for all the congrats!.

Pictures! A meet-up doesn't count unless you share pix.

There's been a change in the weather in southeastern Wisconsin.

It's a mild December day in NYC so went with L'Heure Fougueuse...horse, hay and tea. Dabbed it on this morning and it's still quite detectable. It's a pricy one but tenacious so a little goes a long way!

Hi chaps,
This was definitely a 'Hey-let's-see-how-much-we-can-squeeze-in-Larimar's-work-day'. SotD was Jicky Extrait. Needless to say I smelled divine. I revisited Iris Ganache from a sample at night. A wonderful composition (I have to admit it) unless there was this bland generic sweetish base, but I could possibly overlook it.
Anyway, this squirrel here is putting away Vega (yep, G., I LOVE it) and if it is the last thing I do before bankrupcy. :-D
Good to have you back, Jon! Hope you had a great trip!
Wolfie, Oha is a winner, isn't it? It was not for me, but I always liked its smell a lot. However, this is a very crowdy arena around Oha, so one can be picky.
