I have never smelt a celeb fragrance I would dream of buying. Fame was a fruity boring floral on me, which it the same as 99.9% of other celeb fragrances out there. I now ignore every fragrance which is linked to a celeb of any sort.
Gaga is gagging awful. Madonna's take on Fracas was better, but that isn't saying much, although it does seem that she was involved in the creation of it (by telling the perfumer what she didn't like), and the creation took a long time. I can't think of a single cleb frag I am remotely interested in.
Madonna's truth or dare is more interesting, though it was inspired by an even better frag, Fracas.
This. l also have a mini of Elizabeth Taylor's White Diamonds, which l think is better than the vast majority of celebuscents out there. And l've read good things about SJP's Lovely, but l haven't tried it.
Yes, I'd pick Lovely as one of the better ones, although I tend to give celebrity smells a wide berth, so I'm not that familiar with them. I did give Fame a whirl and thought it was dull. I was wearing 31 Rue Cambon once and someone asked me if I was wearing one of Kylie Minogue's range (!) - so maybe hers are OK, although I haven't tried any of them
Elizabeth Taylor's Diamonds and Sapphires EDP is a very lovely lily based scent. I actually enjoy wearing it as it is a gentler and less linear take on EL's Dazzling Silver. Someone gave it to me as a gift. At first I was a bit surprised that I would get a celebuscent, but most people think they are just fine. It is quite nice.
