New categories of scent

Thread Starter
We have all heard about the categories of scents: fougeres, chypres, orientals, hesperidics.

How about some new categories and suggestions, just for fun? (These are my personal ideas.)

Dandy scents: Derby, Mouchoir de Monsieur, Jicky, Habit Rouge, Cuir Pleine Fleur, Aleksandr, Boutonniere, Richard James EDT.

Seduction scents: Back to Black, Black Orchid, Tobacco Vanille, Kingdom, Tuscan Leather, Vol de Nuit, Shalimar.

Outdoor scents: Acqua di Gio, Le Troisieme Homme, Les Lus Belles Lanvande de Caron.

Office/work scents: Pour Un Homme, Dior Homme, Azzaro Chrome.

Any ideas for category additions?

Maybe, and this is a mere suggestion, formal wear scents (often partially similar to dandy scents and office wear scents), the ones coming to my mind being: Mouchoir de Monsieur, Boucheron PH EDP, with a bit of fragrance daringness, even Knize Ten or Creed BDP.

The 'occidental'. The opposite of the 'oriental', the occidental is cold instead of expansive, and suggests a Cold War era British civil servant lost in a forest in far Northern Europe. He must seem to beat at the withered undergrowth with his umbrella, and to survey the coniferous thicket with a scowl. Examples: Blenheim Bouquet, Bois du Portugal, Wellington, Azzaro PH.

Syrups: most of the female counters in dept stores. Subcategories: floral syrups (aka slutty pink)

Hospital cleaners: half of the male counters. Subcategory: coastal hospital cleaners.

Functionals (as separated from cleaners): all modern muguets, lindens, many white florals, the Clean line, etc

Bilges: several, mostly niche examples.
