Good morning all !

Happy Birthday mr.reasonable

SotD is Vol de Nuit Parfum.

Decided we deserved one more small indulgence this Xmas . Having not smelled this for some time I can happily confirm that it is still fully deserving of it's "masterpiece" status.

Enjoy your Sunday.

Happiest of Birthday to Mr.Reasonable (and handsome, I can't tire to repeat this every time I mention his name). Many fragrant returns to you! Another Guerlain for a treat?

Sinan by JM Sinan on me, working at the restaurant and then an evening shift at a care center.

Hello everybody,
I was in Jicky EdP for the half day. We got an inch of snow overnight, although followed by light ice rain. It's still cold on the ground but extremely mild on the mountains in the west of Austria. After a walk in the snow, I am now preparing a Glögg. My dear half-Swedish friend G. will approve. With all the Christmas tree preparations (only true candles on my tree) tonight it feels like 1990s Nuit de Noel Extrait.
Best to all and a special hug for hard working ((Wolfie))!

Starting my morning in Bourbon French's Voodoo Love. No plans for the day to speak of and will probably reorganize my collection as it badly needs some arranging.

Happy Birthday Mr. Reasonable!

Hope all Basenoters are having a wonderful holiday season. As is my "tradition", I will be celebrating with my friends at work...no day off for hospitals. I always work Christmas as my kiddies are adults and people with little ones should get the day off. Will be working 16 tomorrow, as a newer person celebrates Christmas Eve in a big way and it seems mean for me to sit home reading or watching old moveies while he pines away for family.

Good afternoon.
I did my last Christmas shopping in Bornéo 1834- it's giving me a lot of strength!

Happy Sunday!

Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic. I love the AAs in cold, dry, winter weather. They bring me closer to nature which has gone into hibernation.

Thank you for giving so much of yourselves, Zibeline and Twolf. Shades is due gratitude, too. Caring for others -- beauty at its purest.

Lazing around with the Kindle. Bulgari Au The Blanc on my flannel shirt sleeves.

Evening Gang,

Larimar - I most certainly approve ! So much so, we joined you in some Glögg this afternoon For those unaware, Glögg is a Swedish mulled wine type drink and is most delicious.

I'm presently flopped on a sheepskin in front of a roaring log fire. Dior Homme is my SotE.

Best to all and special thoughts for those working over the festive period.

Good afternoon everyone.

I made a pan of chocolate walnut fudge (makes 4 lb in 30 minutes, very easy to make-- ask if you want the recipe) and will now begin on the potato gnocchi.

SotD-- I don't know what it is but this week I have been off my perfumes. Maybe later. *sigh*

Larimar, you're incredibly brave -- I'd probably end up burning down my place! But it must be just beautiful. Can you post photos?

Ambre Sultan for me today.

Happy Christmas Eve eve to all. I'm celebrating a bit early this evening with my immediate family, then with my BF and his boys on Christmas Eve, then with my immediate and extended family on Christmas Day. Here's hoping I don't explode by the time it's all said (eaten?) and done.

Winter Star for this evening. I am tempted to fight the crowds and get to Barnes to use my thrilling 25% off coupon. I realize this is silly as I might end up with a fender bender or walking half a mile to get into the mall. Maybe I'll just download a new book instead.
