Have they effed up original Polo (green) ??

I recently bought a small bottle over the net, from a reputable outfit. My older one was running low.
This new stuff I've received smells a bit different (not as good) and definitely lacks the longevity.
I'm really disappointed, as this *was* my 2nd favorite scent (after VanCleef & Arpels pour homme).
Let me guess... it's been reformulated and weakened in some way, like the oakmoss taken out?
Anyone else found something not quite right with the latest Polo green???

Thanks, JH. Damn... that's what I was afraid of. I'm not sure this new version is even worth owning. What a shame.

It's not near as good.

Never was a fan of Polo, loved Z14. So sad to hear that these two wonderful frags (I may not like but I recognise greatness) have been ruined because of the Moss restrictions. Two amongst many I fear.

The new ones are noticeably less green, even less bracing. A crying shame especially for a house flagbearer.

Well, I gave it one more try this morning, and had to scrub it off. It's not just different, but somewhat unpleasant. Sad.
I'm only glad I bought a small bottle, and at a pretty good price.

How can you see the difference between vintage and new formulation, without the box???

Nor was I.

Get the seller to tell you exactly what's on the label or better yet get a close-up pic of the labels. There should be obvious differences, though I'm not that familiar with the differences on this one, since I have plenty of vintage but rarely wear it.
