What fragrance do you think Vito Corleone and Tom Hagen would wear in the opening of God Father I ? And Michael in the Party of God Father III ? (designers please because I haven't smelled any niche, not because I dont want to but because its out of my budget)

Vito Corleone - Acqua di Parma Colonia
Tom Hagen - PdN - New York
Michael Corleone - Eau Sauvage

Agree with Jack that old Italians make me think either of citrusy edc or traditional Italian herbals in the style of Tuscany.

Godfather III certainly would have been something more contemporary and fashionable. Vintage Eau Sauvage is a great call, as are other powerhouses of the era. But still more on the citrus herbal side, fougeres, rather than woody spicy.

I would also associate Don Vito Corleone with ADP Colonia.

While most of the other characters in "The Godfather", I'd most likely associate with scents representing, oddly, not so much "gangland", but far more with "corporate America" or even the "Old-World Europe"-business world, that is, very conservative, formal, board room-style, baronial, slightly restrained and slightly pretentious scents. Along the lines of the classics by Creed, Penhaligons, Floris etc.
