Has anyone tried the Creed Aventus hair and body wash?

I have the cologne and I love it. Got a few compliments when I wear it, so I'm leaning towards buying this:

Only issue is that I don't know how this will smell or how long the scent lasts (I assume the scent will be similar to the cologne, but I don't know for sure). Also that this will run out MUCH faster.

Never tried it, and at those prices, never will.

Pretty steep price for what it does.

I've never understood the appeal of this stuff. It's so expensive, and you could just use unscented hair and body wash and spray an extra time on your hair if you really want to smell like Aventus. I'm a huge fan of the scent, but I can never justify that price.

Yup. Its hard enough justifying Aventus (For me) at $69 for 50ml (split) price wise. Those bath products feel like throwing money in the trash.

Yikes!!!! $85 for a body wash? Are they INSANE???!!! (That's like Diptyque's $60 candles. Um....nooooooo.)

I have actually thought about it, but feel its too pricey. I have some gift sets that came with a body wash and like layering it with the edt or edp. I feel like the scent stays on the skin longer. Would be curious to know if anyone has had any good results with Creed body washes.

I'd totally pass, without a doubt. I don't mind paying a lot for a scent to wear - and I say that as someone who owns Aventus (I'm wearing it now, in fact) - but I won't pay anywhere near that much for soap or shampoo.

absolutely insane...

For $85.00? They are crazy as hell.

That's a ridiculous price, even for a 6.8oz bottle.

In the past this is the sort of thing I would buy if there was a fragrance I was particularly fond of. However, I got over this for the reasons others have already mentioned.

Nowadays, I like my fragrances to give me a scent, whereas I prefer my body washes/shower gels to remove any lingering scents from me so that I can apply something different for the day/night ahead.

What about this instead? http://www.creedboutique.com/161-aventus-soap.html

I had an OV soap once and it was probably the best soap I've ever used. Then again, prices on the soaps back then (around 7 years ago IIRC) were only $25.
