Good morning folks. Predictably, the weather looks to be closing in already - ho-hum .

Ulrich Lang Nightscape here - in the mood for a cool, calming, uplifting patchouli and nothing hits the spot better.

Good morning, another 14 hours of work here. Same as tomorrow. My heel is giving me fits (plantar faciitis) due to being overworked. Need a week off the feet, but who would let me? Oh well....

Love.

Poor Wolfie! Whine with wine sounds like a plan to me. I think G. said yesterday he was constantly having wine o'clock. Same here
Aaaaaaanyway, Vega today.

Morning All,

Your poor paw, Wolfie. Hope you get a chance to rest up a little.
Larimar - I'm glad it isn't only my watch that is stuck
Off to visit friends in the country later today (assuming, that is, the roads are navigable: wettest year on record and it is chucking it down). Fumerie Turque for now.

Best to all.

Good morning!

Yeah, the watch is always stuck on wine-o'clock- and also on planning-shopping-preparing- enjoying meals o'clock!!- here too!

SotD is cuddling Heliotrope- before braving the Saturday, almost Parisian, market in search of exotic root vegetables!!

Good morning!

T, so sorry to hear you're having trouble with pf, it's so painful. Hope you get a chance to rest soon.

I'm wearing Guerlain L'Instant this morning.

Hope everyone has a nice weekend!

Wolfie I'm sorry about the PF, it's painful indeed. I hope you'll be able to rest it and feel better soon.

SOTD is MOR Marshmallow. Don't let the name mislead you; this is no cloying confection. Instead it is a refined, subtle take on Turkish Delight, more floral than gourmand. It is a roll-on oil so wears close and softly to skin. Lovely.

Best to all.

What a photo, Jon. I saw that and then saw this photo story at Treehugger titled "Steampunk Cat Transit System" and had to share.

I like the botanical illustration, too, Easyfish.

Owie, Wolfie. Been there with the PF. Once had a steroid shot right into the heel. That hurt, but quickly and temporarily fixed things. Orthotics (which I modified with my X-Acto knife to improve) were great, but in recent years I have come to be able to dance all day thanks to high-arch Birkenstocks and, outdoors, Crocs. I'm twice as heavy as most of you, so, like most burdens, one is forced to learn solutions.

No scent yet. The grade school reunion last night didn't produce many people I knew, but this was really just a dress rehearsal for the big reunion I plan for 2014.

Another occasional plantar fasciitis sufferer here-- there are innersoles that help take the pressure off. Also wearing a low heel (rather than flats) can help temporarily.

Relieved to hear that I'm not alone though it is looking distinctly like "Glögg O'Clock" again today.

"Saffron, raspberry, and thyme, open to olibanum and night-blooming jasmine, while leather, black suede, and amber wood add an intricate richness."

Doesn't that sound like a pleasant effect to experience on a lazy, snowy Saturday? Tom Ford Tuscan Leather.

I'm more the annoying corns and callouses type myself with a few months worth of corn pads in stock at all times.

Was going to NYC to hang with my older daughter, but the weather said "no", so here I stay. Cold and gloomy, so went with Fragonard Soleil.

Will spend the day, reading work related stuff and wishing I wasn't.
