Black/dark caramel

Hi ladies!

I really need your help on this one.

Have you ever smelled a fragrance that makes you think of caramel in a dark, black way? Basically, that's what I'm looking for. Caramel pared with licorice, kind of smell.

Thanks in advance, happy new year!

That fragrance is spot on in the opening, but the incensey woody drydown totally ruined it for me. Such a shame

Not a lady here, but Eau Noire by Dior has this profile. Lavender-licorice anisic fresh note over dark immortelle.

This might not be as dark of a fragrance as you are looking for, but you might want to try Elixir de Merveilles by Hermes. When I tried it on my skin the caramel was not as pronounced, but I have read some reviews where people said it was quite prominent. It is more of a salty caramel. It is composed by Jean Claude Ellena, but I found it to be denser than some of his other fragrances that I have sampled. I also found it to be deeper than the original Eau de Merveilles.
