Statement Maker

Do you have a scent that's a statement maker? Why is it so?

For me its Encre Noir: not because I love it above others but because of its dry harshness. Not typical, exactly what I want to say.

Most likely- the powerhouse scents in my fragrance wardrobe.
They frequently catch attention, whether positive or negative one and often make a statement even by means of their sheer strength.

I would call most of the powerhouse frags statement makers. As in "I am masculine, I am here, and I refuse to smell aquatic, sweet, or fruity like these other guys around here."
Sometimes ya gotta stand out from the crowd. Frags like VanCleef & Arpels PH, Giorgio for men, Quorum, and the like, are the way to do this.

Sables, because it's rather loud and damned odd. Not many people outside the world of fragrance fanatics have experience with immortelle.
