Deodorant... scentless?

Thread Starter
Just started getting into colognes, and I got a rather large shipment of decants in from TPC. I've been slowly trying each one out, but I've noticed my deodorant starting to compete with the cologne. Any of you use scentless deodorants? Got any suggestions or are they all similar?

Yes, I'm sure many of us do. Personally, I use Mitchum scentless gel, mostly because the Dove unscented doesn't agree with my glands. Regardless, either one is a good choice. I also use scentless or low-scent body wash and hair products.

I personally only use scentless. Arrid XXX Dry works well for me.

Yes, scentless is a good idea. Just try and choose any of the reliable brands out there e.g., Dry Idea, Dove, Sure, etc.

There's a long thread about deodorants in the Men's Grooming section here:

And this thread discusses the question of scented or non-scented:

Boots own brand works perfectly for me

I'm currently using Kiss My Face Active Life unscented deodorant. It's NOT an antiperspirant though, so it might not be what you want.

I always use this - marketed for women but works like a charm for me.

Ban Unscented.

I use either Sure unscented or Clinique for Men unscented deodorant stick. The Clinique works amazingly well but is also 7.5 times the cost of the Sure. I've used fragrance free body wash for a long time because my skin is easily irritated.

i generally spray scentless anti-perspirant and then apply a very light rub of scented deodorant

Made from mineral salts. Is a deodorant, not an antiperspirant.

I use DRY IDEA Unscented Anti-persipirant and deodorant.

Any product/product range by Hydro Fugal and/or Bekra Mineral.

I second Ban unscented.

I used to use Ban unscented but it just stopped working for me. The mitchum unscented stick (not sure about the spray listed above) was actually NOT unscented at all but had some musk chemical that I could smell *strongly* for 10+ hours... just mentioning that as an FYI.

In the cooler months I prefer Earth Science Unscented Deodorant ( http://www.vitacost.com/earth-scienc...rant-unscented ) although this doesn't quite hold up for me in the summer. Also, it's not an anti perspirant if that's what you are looking for. I'm going to have to try some of the recommendations for unscented anti perspirants come summer.

LUSH makes a great deodorant called aromaco. you buy it by weight, meaning it is sold to you wrapped in a butchers paper wrap. It does have a slight scent of patchouli, but nothing that would ever compete. It's magnificently effective and cooler to own and use than the store bought stuff.
