I'm fairly new to fragrances and am not sure what to wear when.
I've been wearing L'Essence de Cerutti religiously for a year now, I love it, but it was getting a bit much, I wanted variety. So today I blew nearly all of my paycheck on fragrances:
Obsession Night for Men by Calvin Klein
YSL Pour Homme by Yves Saint Laurent
Le Male by Jean Paul Gaultier
Cool Water by Davidoff
I'm 21, but I'm not really a fan of the 'youth' fragrances. I'm going to a New Years Eve party tonight and was wondering what you would wear if you were in this situation?
Honestly I still prefer L'Essence de Cerutti to all of the ones I bought tonight. None of them smell very natural or enticing to me, pleasant, but they're more upfront. Cerutti feels like it's teasing me, like there's more to it that I don't quite know about.

YSL is generally a bit more formal...Unless it is suit and tie, don't wear that one. Cool Water smells good, and enough like Green Irish Tweed that the untrained nose will think that is what it is...Good choice, but doesn't last very long, so think about that if the party is over 4 hours long. If you are looking for female compliments, Le Male is the way to go...
