Axe Excite = Gucci Pour Homme II?!

Have I completely lost my olfactory marbles if I think that the "drydown" of the body spray Axe Excite smells a hell of a lot like Gucci pH2?

I'm sure it's easy to find similarities like this. Maybe they are in some ways, but everyone's perception is different.

Excite is actually not a bad one at all, compared to some of the others on the Axe line.

My 19 year old step brother apparently wears it, and was very amused when I thought he was wearing "fancy Gucci" when all he did was spray on some Axe

It'll react differently with different peoples' body chemistry, too. It's entirely possible that on YOU, it does smell a lot like GPH II.
