Tabacco Vanille - boozy opening?

It's my first wearing of TV today, and I'm wondering if anyone else thinks the opening is a bit boozy - perhaps a fine bourbon.

Hour in and this is pretty awesome juice.

To me, the tobacco note is strong in the opening, but mellows down to a nice vanilla.

Probably the Tobacco mixed with the Vanilla. A few frags have that effect with those two notes. ex. Pure Havane

Never really thought about the opening in quite that way, but I suppose I could see how the combination of notes could give off that scent, even briefly. Either way, a fantastic fragrance...enjoy your wearing. It should last the whole day!

It was pretty brief; now the tobacco is front-and-center and the vanilla is developing. I've heard people compare it to Eau Des Baux; they share a vanilla note but to me they are completely different.

This is intoxicating.

Spicy opening, dominated by cloves.

Yeah, I literally only get tobacco and vanilla. No boozy for me either.

I never got a boozy vibe with TV's opening. It is a wonderous tobacco leaf opening which mellows down into a vanilla wonderland. I adore this fragrance.

24 hours later and I still get the faint smell of vanilla on my wrists.
