Open by Roger & Gallet in the Summer?

I recently acquired Open and I love the scent. However I am a little worried it might not be a summer/warm weather scent.

Has anyone tried this out in the summer/warmer months? Can it be pulled off?

If not, can anyone recommend a scent that is comparable but better suited for warmer weather? I just blind bought Sander for Men based on a some reviews which recommended it as a dry woody scent better suited for summer. Haven't gotten it yet.

It's good at any time of the year IMO.

I have used Open in all weathers and seasons. It's a good all-rounder

Own it, love it, and I always use it modestly, especially in warm weather. Enjoy! It's fine stuff, a very nice, somewhat affordable addition to any collection. I strongly suspect that any day now it will go from easily available online to rare, expensive, haphazardly reformulated, and "gee I wish I could find a good bottle cheap." Good advice, gents: jump on it now.

Welcome to Basenotes!

In my looking into more old school and barbershop frags, Open kept showing up here and there. After finding it online for under $20 for a big bottle, I took the plunge. I'm happy I did too! This has the old school, powerhouse vibe that I love. It has notes reminiscent of Quorum, Aramis, Paco Rabanne and Rive Gauche in there. Very nice indeed. I am planning on wearing this year round and just going very easier on the trigger in the summer.

If you can survive the top notes, it should be fine in summer.

What is the longevity and projection/silage with Open?
