Good morning,
I started off earlier ths morning in Coup de Fouet and now have the rest of my Vetiver Extraordinaire sample on my wrist. And I thought I was through with the Malles (selling all bottles -except the superb Une Fleur de Cassie- last year)...

Good morning all !. SotD is Rive Gauche PH.

Ready for the weekend

Hello and happy Friday all! My Christmas tree came down yesterday. Got increasingly fed up of pulling the kittens out of it, untangling them from the lights/tinsel and retrieving baubles from the farthest reaches of the living room. So now they're back to ragging the furniture. They're so cute though, even as they trash the house, so all is forgiven

For synch Friday (frag you've never worn before) I'm in Allure edp. Can't believe I haven't tried this before.

Here in Italy the tree is taken off after Jan 6th and in Russia after January 13 (it's the New Year according to the 'old' calendar) so if you feel like taking your time with the tree, you can!
Wearing Amouage Memoir Body cream. Projects like a fume.

Thanks dianabi! Here in the UK the tree has to be taken down by Twelfth Night, (the 6th) but l'm working this weekend & so l had to get it done today. l put on some of my old vinyl records to make it seem less of a chore, & it's nice to see the living room looking so clean & tidy again. Now l can start looking forward!

Hi all and god fortsättning (means good continuation, and refers to the new year when said after 1/1) as we say in Sweden!
Wearing Cuir de Lancome from a sample generously provided by Foustie.

Good morning, everyone!

It's another bright and glorious day in the mountains! No skiing today, though - we're headed into Boulder to meet friends for lunch, and I'm in Coromandel.

Y'all have a fantastic day!

Hi there, PerfumedLady! Thank you, it's nice to see you, too.

And teardrop, it's also nice to see you here! I sure hope you stick around - I've been enjoying your thread starters lately.

Thanks sweetie! Don't worry, once l've made up my mind to do something, it takes a few wild horses to stop me. A typical taurus, l guess!

Not in synch today, I'm wearing Sweet Redemption. I was supposed to have an appointment today with the eye surgeon (I have a cataract that needs surgery) but a STUPID insurance snafoo caused me to reschedule for later this month ... after I had driven all the way there! grrrrr Anyway, now I have the rest of my day off to enjoy.

hugs to all ... TGIF!

Good morning!

Teardrop, we're chore twins today, I'm taking down all Christmas decorations today, too and listening to music. It really does help make it more fun and go faster.

Devilcat, I bet your kittens are getting big, would love to see a picture of them. I think you're pretty brave having a tree up at all with kittens in the house. I remember the destruction years ago when we tried mixing the two, it wasn't good, lol.

Today for Sync Friday I'm trying Profumum Rosae Mundi, with notes of rose, patchouli, vetiver and cedar. On a thread here on Basenotes others thought it smells similar to Cabaret and I really don't get the connection. Rosae Mundi is far more unisex than Cabaret and Cabaret is more floral and sweeter. This is the first time wearing it so I guess it will take a few more wears to know exactly what I think about it.

Have a great weekend!
Just wasn't the time to have that done today. But when you do go, may GOD be with you and may everything work out well for you.

Synching in OJ Ta'if. Lovely work.
Back at work on Monday and going away for Mr Ali's birthday over the weekend. Going to a cold and blustery north eastern coastal resort. Might pop into York on the wayback and visit Burgins if they're open?

Shades hope all goes well when you have it done and that you enjoyed your unexpected time off
post #30 of 41
Shades dear, put on your sleep mask
and enjoy a little time off.

Today's sync theme is to wear a scent you haven't worn before. Close enough is MPG Freezia d'Or, which I've worn once before. Floral radiance, so upper-crust. If you can't afford the discontinued Sabi ($$$$!), this would make a good substitute. Tuberose and jasmine are the Paul McCartney and John Lennon of this chorus of flowers.

Kiliwia read my mind: Would love to have seen photos of Devilcat's pranksters wearing tinsel. (K, your photo choice excites me to the core.)

For my wine friends, we're behind in bottling, so I'll have to use a wine thief to fill your glass. I believe you all like dry reds, Jon, Gandhajala, Larimar, Cello. Who else is up for a glass? I'll toast you by name over daughter's homemade chicken pot pie at lunchtime.

Reminder: Tomorrow is the first Saturday of the month ~~~ Sniff 'n' Speak, Orientals.

A nice, velvety Merlot for me, cheers all!

Chores done, & post-shower, my SOTE is original Monsoon. Despite it's name, this is very much a winter warmer for me.

I'm visiting Japan.... so brought a bunch of samples with to wear. I recently got a bunch of the Serge Lutens non-exports (are they still called that?), so that is what I have.

Today, I was wearing Mandarine Mandarin. It's already the 5th here.. lol.

Hmmmmmm.... I guess I'm in synch!

Synced today in a scent I've never worn- Caron's Tabac Blond. Yes, I am a bit slow in getting to the Caron line! Hope Larimar is proud of me today!

Good evening, good smelling people.

Karmala today, the Avon (mark division) fragrance. I love it, as do my daughters. It is one of the few they made that have good longevity on me, too, it's still there from this morning. Perfect match for the purple sweater and brown boots, it smells like the outfit looks, LOL. I can also see it working very well with a flowy hippie skirt kind of look, but that's not how I dress
post #39 of 41
I m in sync wearing Penhaligon s Quercus. Lovely, when first sprayed on, but soon falls flat, faint & meh on me. Maybe an old sample...?
