Narrowing fragrances down to ten is indeed very different from classic top ten, that is, ten most impressive fragrances. Wearability is a factor. Here's my top 10... OK, 12:
Vintage Derby
Mouchoir de Monsieur
Eau d'Hermes
Chanel Eau de Cologne (kind of synthetic classic eau de cologne; I can't believe I like this so much)
Helmut Lang EdC
Musc Ravageur (it's simple and kind of vulgar in its simplicity and explicitness, but I can't help loving it)
Piper Nigrum
SMN Melograno aftershave (very weird choice, especially since I don't love the EdC version. Linear and rather simple: smells like the most luxurious soap ever produced, like well being and contentment.)
vintage YSL M7 (after going through loads of oud scents, I come back to this)
vintage No. 88
vintage Santal Noble
L'Air du Desert Marocain
