Received a fake Le Male from eBay today.

Saw a Buy-It-Now pop-up last weekend for a barely used (and cheap!) 2.5oz Le Male. Seller assured that it was authentic in the listing and returns were available. So I just took a shot with it.... well, it came in today and I opened it up... and it was pretty clear immediately that it was a fake. I've since ordered a real one from a reputable online store because I sensed this could be a fake before it even got here. I will be returning this one to the eBay seller in the morning.

I took some pictures of the obvious stuff.....

The paint around the neckline is poor at best,

No embossed GAULTIER on the rear,

Doesn't have matching numbers and the bottle has a cheap sticker for info,

If you're not happy, hope you can get a full refund.

The seller allowed Returns, that's why I took a chance on it.

Sorry bro. You're always taking a chance with ebay

Sounds like the seller didn't know it was fake. To me at least.

They were not aware, but has been pleasant to deal with. So that's a positive.

A few nights ago I found Le Male on sale at Walgreens.com with an additional $10.00 off coupon code, so I pulled the trigger before this fake even got delivered.

Don't buy from Ebay. It's not always as reliable as it seems. Amazon sells great stuff aswell, some fakes aswell.

Amazon NEVER sells fakes. Amazon Traders, selling on Amazon sell fakes

Ebay is one of the best places to buy fragrance. You have to be smart though. Never buy from a seller that has anything less than 99% positive feedback, or anything less than 1000 feedback. It should say 100% guaranteed authentic somewhere in the listing. I hate it when people complain about getting ripped off from ebay sellers when you look at the listing they purchased from and it is obviously not a reputable seller. Be smart about it, and you won't get ripped off.

false dailey.

amazon imports (unknowingly) from companies that sell fakes.

yes they are middlemen, but they still market fakes, collect your money and have the fakes delivered to you.

I hate amazon with the fire of 1000 suns, I have purchased two items from amazon in my enite life and both items broke within a week. Ebay, however, has never let me down after hundreds of transactions.
