Al Rehab ~ Standard of Quality ???

How is the quality of these oil based fragrances ?
I noticed that I have a couple small phials of their oils. They seem very cheap to me and the labels are falling off. I visit a lot of arabic markets here in france and they sell very poor quality perfume oils. The Al Rehab products seem to fit that bill ~ or am I wrong ?
Are they actually high quality ???

I really like the one product I have which is called Superman, and it's a knockoff of Jacomo de Jacomo.

I don't care for the roll on's but they do last a long time. I prefer the spray bottles which are really nice considering the price point. They spray like Creed bottles.

I have to agree that the EDP sprays are miles better than the roll on's.

What does the labels peeling have to do with the quality of the fragrance? If I were to tell you that they are high quality would that make them smell better to your nose? I'm confused

its horribly synthetic and most are simply an attempted copy from other brands

I had heard the name of the brand mentioned on basenotes and discovered them at a local arabic weekly market.
Nearly all the 3ml bottles had labels stuck on at crazy angles and most of them were falling off, (presumably because of a very poor quality glue). High quality arabic perfume oils are usually very well presented. The presentation of these oils looked very "cheap" and made me suspicious therefore of the quality of the perfume oil inside the bottles. Why are you confused by this ? It's a logical conclusion.

I've found a few economical diamonds in the rough with Al Rehab/Crown. My journey would not have been as fun had I not gone down the path leading to them, Surrati, Al Haramain, etc.

And...I've never been overly concerned about presentation, and certainly not when considering the relatively inexpensive.

What is your definition of a high quality oil? Remember the price you are paying for these oils. That being said I have never noticed labels being stuck at crazy angles or peeling off and I have over 10 oils from Al Rehab.

Anyway, the majority of the oils I have tried from them I'm not crazy about. I don't know what high quality oil is, but I feel these are low quality... but that's just how I feel about them. There are a couple I enjoy, such as Khaliji and Sultan. Check out Khaliji if you can; I personally don't think it smells low quality (at least not when it dries down) -- I think it's rather pleasant.

I tried only one product of theirs, Al-Rehab Silver; bought it blind due to the opinions here stating that its a SMW clone, but actually i found it terribly synthetic. Gave it to a friend and he gave it away further after a few days. And its been like that for quite some time, nobody seems to like it enough to keep it in his/her collection.

I smelled Silver, promised by over a dozen members on basenotes to be really similar, if not identical, to Creed's Silver Mountain Water. I was very disappointed. Silver by Al Rehab is total crap, and I wouldn't try any other Al Rehab fragrances.

Middle easterns do shower though. It's just the perfume oils that smell dirty.
