alternatives to D&G Pour Homme (reformulated)

Recently tried D&G Pour Homme for the first time and initial impressions are good. Before I consider buying this, are their any other scents I could try which smell very similar but with higher quality ingredients?

hmm...the notes in O des Soupirs seem completely different. Can't imagine it smelling remotely similar, but I respect your superior knowledge.

track down a vintage bottle of d&g. Its so much better.

While not the same, I find Acqua di gio and D&G in the same league of crowd pleasing scents.

I feel that Creed Tabarome Millesime, though not 'very similar' in smell, has a somewhat similar vibe.

If you want a better quality version of the current D & G Pour Homme, then the best advice is, as noted above, to go for vintage.
