It's 2013. and it's time for such a thread. I would most kindly implore all of you to see my wardrobe and give your opinion what I should add to it, what should I discard, or both.

Thanks in advance.

Seems a bit ruthless (Though I follow your line of thought.)
I was going to suggest getting rid of the Cool Water and A Men (Ok and maybe the Boss Bottled) and looking for a couple more vintage classics, maybe Givenchy Gentleman or Monsieur for example.
If you want to change and go for a completely different style then I have no idea..

Add Aventus if you don't already have it

I was looking to do a similar thread not too long ago. Mine would be more of the upgrading and adding rather than subtracting (although I do have a few that could probably go). With yours I would follow what is above my post except keep Bulgari aqua and envy and get rid of pi

Dear gents, many thanks to you. The first commenter - I really like your radical, ruthless approach

IgorBg- I know all too well what you think, your advices are always apprecated!

The rest of you, I really enjoyed your opinions and suggestions!

At first glance I find that you have a decent, broad range of scents. You have rated all but one of your wardrobe with 4 or more stars, so why fix something if its not broken? I guess you are looking for more recent releases of perfumes, since the majority of your frags dated from 2000 and before, but newer doesn't always translate into better.

Anyhow that is not what you were asking, so I would exchange:Chic for Men, Hypnose Homme, Dirty English, Joop! Homme, and Night Flight.

My choices of replacements would be: Atlantic, Jubilation XXV, Comme des Garcons 2 Man, Voyage d'Hermes, L'Instant de Guerlain Extreme. Some of these are modern takes on some traditional scents, and some are really new twists that will add depth and breadth to your current wardrobe. Cheers!

Nothing really. I own it myself but OP has a lot of what you might call older school mature sort of frags and I think Boss Bottled is a bit redundant there (the lemonade/apple pie notes seem more suited to youngsters in my view) which is why I mentioned it.

I find this to be a good evaluation but I would get rid of Cool Water and Fahrenheit too. And I don't like Egoïste at all!

  • Get rid of all the Hugo Bosses except bottled and anything that you don't wear a lot.

Add one of these two:

Encre Noire (Lalique) http://www.basenotes.net/ID26126273.html

Eau Sauvage Parfum (Dior) http://www.basenotes.net/ID26135203.html

I consider you my scent twin

Consider pursuing Gaultier 2 and Kenzo Jungle

What, no Guerlain?

Get L'Instant.

And send Envy for Men to me.
