I love 3 of th 4. I wear M7 most often of the 3. Dark Aoud is perhaps my favorite Montale but don't wear the beast that often. Black Aoud is high on my list too but so rosey that I have to be in the mood. Love all 3 but M7 is the most versitile for me. Can't choose one!

Voted for Black Aoud. I haven't tried them all. Tried only M7 & BA .

I chose BA because I love the fresh, lush, cut red roses overtop earthy patchouli. Gorgeous juice

I own M7 and samples of all 3 Montales.

M7 is great.
Black Aoud is hard to wear and I have to be in mood to wear it.
Dark Aoud is easier to wear and very dry, woody scent. I wouldnt mind to own small decant of it.
Aoud Musk to me is like Black Aoud without roses. I kinda like it.

If I had to pick 1 of them it would be M7. If I had to pick 1 from Montale "Aouds" that I tried it would be without doubt White Aoud but I am sucker for vanilla.

I prefer Black Aoud as it's the most luxurious of them all to me. The others are very nice but I'm not nearly as impressed with them.

Own three, but have smelled all of them (however I only smelled Oud Musk once *I think*). Tough choice but it's honestly too hard to choose between M7, Black Aoud, and Dark Aoud without knowing the occasions you'd be wearing them in. M7 is the most versatile of the four, with Black Aoud being the least. However if it was for a purely formal event, Black Aoud would stand head and shoulders above the others.

All that being said, I voted for Dark Aoud.

Just gave this another thought. Black Oud Extrait de Parfum by LM Parfums is much better than the four Montales in the OP's list IMO and I own and love all of them. Black Od Parfum by LM Parfums is so much smoother and refined.

Gotta go with Montale Black Oud. Then again my reference with M7 is Oud Absolu, not the classic, and I get way more patchouli, incense and amber than I do oud im Oud Absolu. Black Aoud is my favorite scent. Period.

and may I add that M7 is way too powdery for me.

 

The only thing that I like in M7 is ... my gf loves it on me.

 

Black Aoud all the way!!

(and I also love Dark Aoud =) )

Agree, however for the purpose of the vote, I took dark Aoud, but on any given day, I'd be choosing differently... Own and enjoy all 4...

correct, that doesnt include m7 oud absolu.

 

i choose M7 from the above, much better than the others. however, non of them contain the real oud smell.
