Morning all, it's another depressingly grey day here today, & l'll be draining my sample of Dior's Patchouli lmperial to warm me up before going to work later.

To all those returning to work today after the festive season; l hope it's relatively painless for you.

Have a great week, everyone!

Morning! Yes, another useless grey day, but at least we have our fragrances to keep our spirits up

good morning teardrop, and everyone

Wearing the most authentic horse leather i ever smelled MONTALE Aoud Cuir d’Arabie ,

this is the real leather, its not like Chanels Cuir de russie, this one is 100% authentic horse leather, but from the expencive running horse, its nothing dirty , animalic but luxurious , aoud gives it luxury, fantastic!! little goes long way,
this is exactly what i missed in Chanel and hoped their vintage version has it, but found it here
thanks again to Whitefluffy

yes, today is painless because it's my day off

From tomorrow to the end of January it will be pure madness at school with end of term assessments and so on...

SotD is Avignon.

Have a good day, all of you.

Too much wine o'clock yesterday, Jon? So, you needed a day off.... tztztztzzzz

Don't mention the weather!

Hello everyone -

We're home - yay! The weather's nice here, mild and cool but sunny ...and no snow! The mountains are breathtaking and the skiing was excellent, but I've had my fill of frigid temps, ice and snow for a good long time. I'm in Dior Addict for a lazy morning of leisurely unpacking and recombobulating.

Y'all have a great day!

Jon - A Very Happy Belated Birthday to you! It sounds like you had a fantastic day yesterday - you certainly deserve it, as well as a fine day off today. Enjoy it! Here's to another great year ...and many, many more to come! XOXO

Jon-

Hope you had a great b-day! Hugs.

Today, hubs is starting his new new job. Feeling blessed about that.

Happy Belated Birthday Jon!

Grey and rainy here (cool, not cold), so I went with the dazzling, sparkling...

Sous le Vent by Guerlain

It's been too long between wearings. This stuff is just so gorgeous...

Sorry I missed your birthday Jon. Hope it was a good one.

I am wearing AA Flora Nerolia by Guerlain and feeling good after
a wonderful back/neck/shoulder massage.

It's too early in the term for schools to want me yet!
I'll be in demand soon enough no doubt, when the 'flu bugs
start circulating again.

A day of ironing, cleaning the microwave and mountain of dishes. At least I'm not at work!

Counteracting the drudge by a mere smidgen of Robert Piguet Visa. Feel I should be doing lunch instead of laundry :-)

BN is glitchy today. I'll try posting again.

kalli, I hope your husband will like his new job! It's great that he could start so soon after the other one didn't pan out.

I'm wearing YSL In Love Again and am about to go over to watch a DVD with Mom. I've got a library copy of A Tale of Two Cities from 1935 (!)

I'll share our sunshine with you fine folks. Big shout out for Mr. Kalli--"Show 'em how it's done!"

After literally decades of work and worry, I'm down to the final phase of the take-care-of-my-parents, make-ends-meet, preserve-the-important-things, dispose-of-the-excess, chronicle-the-history, self-imposed assignment: I'm scanning and organizing over a hundred years of photographs and documents. I'll probably be doing this off and on for months, but at least I've got my brain wrapped around the beast (hmmm, that's a strange mixed metaphor).

For a day of scanning and touching up dust and scratches in Photoshop, I'll join iivanita in leather, but I'm feeling the need for the sweetness of Tom Ford Tuscan Leather.

A belated Happy Birthday to the one and only Jon Rodgers!

Today is my first day back at work after 2 weeks off, and it is painful! But, now that I'm rested and recovered from my trip, it's also good to be out of the apartment and around people.

I'm house twins with Mr. Rodgers in HdP Ambre 114. My week in SoCal got my nose twitching for florals, but the freezing temps here in the Great Plains had me thinking amber again.

And another belated birthday wish, Jon!!! I missed the festivities yesterday, but I am sure there was a nice wine involved And you smell great today! I love 1804 and it's pineapple note. I think it might be one of the trio of 14ml bottles I get from HdP, as will ExtremeK's Amber 114. The amber was an immediate wishlist hit.

Fendi Theorema today, from a mini given to me by a very kind BNer! Lovely stuff, this.

You are most welcome, iivanita ! I don't have the guts to wear it more often and I really should.

Annick Goutal Eau d'Hadrien EdT.

I'm going for musc today, just to see what sort of reactions I get. Personally, I find musc based scents very hard to detect.

Starting off with Bruno Acampora, Musc

Too, too funny, cello! I'm looking at the minis, too -- Ambre 114 and 1804!! I think the third will be 1969. Just 'cause I'm that kind of girl ... a gourmand lover, of course! ;-)

Evening all, the wearing of my own wardrobe and samples continues. Wearing Mugler A*men Pure Havane. I had forgotten how well this wears on my skin. The sweetness goes very quickly and the tobacco is only lightly vanilla/rum. Shame it doesn't last longer though as it becomes almost imperceptible after 2 hrs.

Eau des Iles after a long day. Cheers to all.

A long day for me too, so nice to be home. SOTE is Stoned by Solange Azagury-Partridge. This bottle was an early Christmas present to myself, & worth every penny.

Yeah, Larimar keeps us on a leash. (I can get carried away expressing my lust for spring.)
Please stop by often, Knightowl.

I'm wearing Mure et Musc today. It was busy at work today, after several weeks of not being busy. I'm glad, but I'm really tired. Bet I sleep good tonight!
